Bonus Chapter:
(1 Week later)
[Since I didn't have my own berth room, Oppi let me move into Side's room. I'm still getting used it but Sides and I have been using the extra time to share songs we love, tonight's was my favorite....]
*Stereo Hearts (feat. Adam Levine) by Gym Class Heros (The Papercut Chronicles II*
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
And turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
I heard my favorite song come on and I snuggled into Sides chest, smiling.
"This song reminds my of us sometimes." I mused as Sideswipe placed a servo on my back.
Gym Class Heroes baby!
If I was just another dusty record on the shelf
Would you blow me off and play me like everybody else?
If I asked you to scratch my back, could you manage that?
Like yeah fucked up, check it Travie, I can handle that
Furthermore, I apologize for any skipping tracks
It's just the last girl that played me left a couple cracks
I used to, used to, used to, used to, now I'm over that
'Cause holding grudges over love is ancient artifacts
I pretty much skipped the wrap in my mind but I hummed along to the song as Sideswipe sat up and leaned over me.
"Does it now?" He said as he pressed a passionate kiss on my lips.
I smiled and kissed back.
If I could only find a note to make you understand
I'd sing it softly in your ear and grab you by the hand
Just keep it stuck inside your head, like your favorite tune
And know my heart's a stereo that only plays for you
He pulled back and smirked. "Let's see if I can find my own note..." He said a little breathlessly as he brought me against him by pulling on my servo. And as soon as I was where he wanted me to be he kissed my neck.
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
And turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
I sang quietly along with the song. looking out the window to see the distant light of Boston.
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh to my stereo
Oh oh oh oh so sing along to my stereo
Sideswipe sang, quieter than me, I turned around to face him.
He smiled and continued to sing into the wrap as he slid his servos to my waist.
Let's go!
If I was an old-school fifty pound boombox
Would you hold me on your shoulder wherever you walk
Would you turn my volume up in front of the cops
And crank it higher every time they told you to stop
And all I ask is that you don't get mad at me
When you have to purchase mad D batteries
Appreciate every mixtape your friends make
You never know we come and go like on the interstate
I smiled and swayed to the tune as he sing with the song.
I think I finally found a note to make you understand
If you can hit it, sing along and take me by the hand
Just keep me stuck inside your head, like your favorite tune
You know my heart's a stereo that only plays for you
"It better only play for me." I said seriously then pushed him back a little, playfully. "And about that note...." I teased.
He looked at me and then pushed me down against the berth until he was just above me.
"Your turn, beautiful." He whispered.
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
I sang as I looked into his beautiful blue optics.
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh to my stereo
Oh oh oh oh so sing along to my stereo
I continued to sing happily.
I only pray you'll never leave me behind (never leave me)
Because good music can be so hard to find (so hard to find)
I take your head and hold it closer to mine (yeah)
Thought love was dead, but now you're changing my mind
He sang the main lyrics as I sang the chorus.
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
I sang my part, then flipped us over before my next set of lyrics came.
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh to my stereo
Oh oh oh oh (Gym Class Heroes, baby!) so sing along to my stereo
He sang with the chorus as he laughed.
Yeah
I finished in my normal voice.
After that we cuddled for about another hour before we went into recharge.
I'm glad I was ok with this crazy ride, I would have never heard my own spark beat if I hadn't. Not to mention get the two most important mechs in my life, the two that know how to change any one of my mods to happy.
