Coraline's POV :

I walk out of the coffee shop and blinded by the ray of sunlight that shines so bright. I have to raise up my other hand that's not holding my cup of coffee to prevent too much light into my eyes and start walking

Today is undoubtedly the most hottest day because the heat is so uncomfortable that makes me sweat a lot and also the sun is shining so bright it almost blinded me. I keep walking and finally arrive at my apartment. I opened the door but before I enter my room, I heard yelling and stuff thrown in the wall by my neighbor.

Then a man with dirty blonde hair that looks around my age walk out of the room and my neighbor keep throwing things at him. For now , she's throwing her flat shoes at him.

"Get out of my sight you asshole!"

"Gladly you slut!" He fired back at her

"How dare you call me that?"

"Well after sleeping around with my friend i think that name suits you, isn't it?"

"Ugh! You're such a pain! I'm glad we're over!" Then she slammed her apartment door and the man look at me.

"Sorry 'bout that"

"It's alright. I know she always bring a different guy every night anyway, so I surprise that she even have a boyfriend" I shrugged my shoulder

"Had. We just broke up. Don't you see?"

I chuckled

"oh yeah. How come I forgot the nondramatic and totally normal break up like that?" I say sarcastically.

He chuckled too and shake his head.

"Sarcastic are we? I'm Bryan by the way" he extended his hands for me to shake it.

I shake his hands "Coraline Sparks. Nice to meet you Bryan "

"Nice to meet you too. You got a pretty name there"

"Thanks"

"No problem. Listen I know this might sound creepy but would you like to accompany me to have lunch together at the restaurant down the street? Because after that encounter with her I really need food to gain my strength"

I reply him without thinking so much "yeah sure. I'd love too"

"After you"

So, i locked my apartment and start walking to have lunch with him.

Truth is our lunch went well and he is a really nice and funny guy. He can make me laugh and make me feel so easy around him. By the end of our meal he asks me my number and email and I give him.

Yup. You heard me right. I gave him my number because I'm attracted by the beauty of his eyes and his handsome face. I know that sound so foolish but hey, true love only comes once right? So who knows ? Maybe he is my one true love. There's no harm in trying

And as it turns out, I'm right. We started dating 2 weeks after that and we have a roller-coaster kind of a relationship. We fought all the time, we disagree on a lot of things, but we do love each other and the sex was good. So yeah, after our 2 years anniversary we had a fight again. But I never knew that this fight might cause something I deeply regret

It was all begins after we ate dinner at his parents home. He finally introduced me to his family and tell them we were ready to built a family. Yup he proposed to me 1 week before our second year anniversary, and of course I said yes.

But, his father was really a jerk and not gave his blessing upon our coming marriage. His brother are on the same page with their father. His brother never ever even smile at me. He only looks at me with cold and deadly glares. He is so very handsome like my Bryan but he has a very different personality than him. He is so mean and cold while my Bryan is very sweet and romantic.

And then things start getting haywire from there. I was so mad at his father and his brother so I throw it all on him on our way home until we got to my apartment. I stood at the front door and he stood by his car.

We continue arguing because I was so embarrassed and humiliated in front of his family.

"Don't touch me! You asshole! You just exactly like your father! Ugh just go away!" I slapped him harshly until he stumble back to the street. It's 11 pm so the street was not so crowded with cars and it was an empty road now.

"Don't push me you bitch"

"You're the bitch! You and your perfect father and brother! Ugh! Just go away from me! I hate you ! I hate you!"

"I hate you too, you pain in the ass! Why can't you see I'm the only one who took your side and you're throwing everything at me like I'm your punch bag?!"

"Fuck you! Get away from here! Don't talk to me!"

I'm walking toward him and slapped him again but he caught my wrist and grabbed my bum, kiss me hard on the mouth. I kissed back and running my hand through his hair and we broke apart because the lack of air.

Then I pushed him again and slapped him hard

"Just stay away from me you asshole!" I started walking to my apartment but he shouted at me

"And where do you think you're going? We're not finish here"

"Oh yes we are! I hate you! Just go! Goooo!" I screamed because I was so frustrated and then,I fall on my knees because I know our relationship never gonna work because his family didn't approve of me.

I start crying and look up to see that he walked toward me but before he reached me, a four-wheel drive with full speed driven by a drunken man is coming toward him but he notice it too late and I screamed the top of my lungs when I see him collapsed to the ground after got hit and run over by that fucking car.

"Noooooooo Bryaaaaaannnn"
