Nate P.O.V
Emptiness,anger confusion is all I felt after Barry left. How can he just do that and leave? How can he be so fucking selfish ?. I felt my blood boiling so I went to the only person that I knew could help my best friend Iris. Yes me and Iris finally made up so she's not mad at me for that time I was late for work it took 2000 flowers and chocolates and promising  and confessing how I feel about Barry but it was worth it. Iris is gonna be so pissed. I thought to myself as I knocked on Iris apartment door.
"Hey Nate what's up?" Iris asked casually looking at me with those big brown eyes.
"We need to talk"I said in a serious tone with my head down.
"Uh oh is it that bad?" She asked with worry on her voice.
"You have no idea" I said truthfully
"Come in and spill the beans" she said . As I entered the apartment and took a seat on the couch.this is is there's no going back mate you got this. I said trying to build the courage to tell my best friend what had happened.
"HE DID WHAT THAT JERK I WILL GO TO STAAR LABS RIGHT NOW AND CHOP HIS DICK OFF IF I NEED TO !!"  Iris said furiously
I'm starting to think telling Iris was not such a good idea.I thought to myself
" it's okay Iris don't worry about it the kiss didn't mean anything to me anyways" I lied
" That's a lie and you know it Nate" she said seeing straight through my lie. Ahh shit why did she had to know me so well?. I thought to myself letting out a small groan.
"I'm not lying Iris really I'm over him" I said trying to convince her but that just made it worse.
"Fine then if your over him then comfort him and look at him in the eyes and tell him you don't want nothing to do with him" she said firmly.I can't do that that would hurt him and it would break me more.
" I need a few days off from work if that's ok with you" I told her
" yea that's fine take all the time you need" she said with a warm smile.
I looked at the time it read 7:00pm oh shit I've even here for 4 hours? I thought to myself.
" I have to go Iris I'll see you later" I said as I grabbed my stuff and left. After I finished eating and took a quick shower as I was preparing for bed I heard my doorbell ring.
As I opened it I saw the last person I wanted to see at the moment.
