Hayden's POV
I quickly stand up from the bed where Scotty is still asleep. I put a hand on my mouth as I look at the clock "2 am". Great.
Without waking him up, I run towards the bathroom and quickly reach the toilet and kneel beside it. I hold my hair as I throw up my entire stomach.
I cough roughly, and stand up when I'm done.
I reach the sink where I put water on my face and wipe my mouth.
I sigh in frustration. I'm looking at myself in the mirror when my eyes catch something beside the sink. I narrow my eyes at it.
It's a small stick.
It's one of those new ones. You know? The ones who tell you for how long you've been a "lucky woman".
I took it this morning because I couldn't stop puking.
The results appeared a few hours later and from then I couldn't stop think about it.
I didn't want to tell Scotty cause we've been together for only two weeks and the stick that counts for how long you've been pregnant has a big "1 month " plastered on it.
Which could only mean one thing:
The father of the baby I'm carrying is my ex boyfriend.
How lucky am I ?
