The Desision

Mate? I asked my wolf, what the heck do you mean mate, I haven't met him yet and even them he's probably going to reject me. My wolf growled loudly in my head, I flinched. Mate will never regect us, Mate loves us, I scoffed internally at that. Eli looked up at me strangly, I quickly ran a hand over his head. He dipped his head, and gently nudged my leg. We walked back into the sitting room where they'd all been mingling. Everybody looked confused,

"Alpha?" asked a women, I don't know who she was,

"Yes Hannah?" asked Lucas,

"What's happened? You're uncle just took the Luna and Alice, then just left" she said, a man stepped forward behind her and put an arm around her,

"I'm sorry Alpha, if my mate has spoken out of turn, we are all just confused" he said, not looking Lucas in the eye. Are we still connected to his uncle? I asked my wolf,

[Yes you are still connected to my uncle. I would like to change that, if you are happy with it] Lucas's voice echoed through my head, I frowned,

[Why would it matter what I say?] I asked honestly, he is an alpha, I'm an Omega, nothing.

"You're mate hasn't spoken out of turn James, I understand you are all confused" he spoke loudly to everyone, all the people fell silent, listening to Luke speak, "I'm not yet your Alpha" he said clearly, "but I want to ask your permission to be. Your Alpha has abandoned you. He has fled with his mate after I confronted him. Will you let me be your Alpha?" A deeper silence settled over our pack.

"I think we should" My wolf spoke through me, stepping forward, I gulped as everyone's head's turned in my direction, "as he said our Alpha has abandoned us, he can and will protect us and care for us like an Alpha should. A true Alpha shouldn't abandon his pack" I said stepping back towards Eli, who brushed his head against my leg in comfort. Several people nodded, but some shook their heads,

"You're a Omega, you shouldn't have a say" shouted someone from the back of the crowd, Lucas and Matt frowned, Eli growled loudly, heads snapped in his direction, people stepped back in fear. I brushed a hand across his head,

[Eli, what's the matter?] I asked, he didn't bother replying, Luke grinned,

"I don't think my Beta is too happy with you're view" Luke told the people in front of him, "you know, I could always just go back to my pack, back to my father and let you open to rogue attacks and to be taken over by other packs, I hear the Basin pack is looking for more land" he said casually. A small smile slipped onto my lips as the shocked expressions appeared on the faces of the crowd. One man stepped forward, he looked back around at the other people,

"I speak for the members of the pack when I say we will be happy to accept you as Alpha" he spoke strongly yet with a soft voice. Luke nodded,

"Is all the pack here?" he asked, the man nodded. "This may hurt" he told us, he closed his eyes. I felt a cold sensation filled my body, I grabbed a hold of Eli's ruff at the unfamilar feeling. Warmth rushed through my body like wildfire, voices began to fill my head. I closed my eyes to try and ignore the voices of my pack. Eli whined next to me, I slowly released my grasp,

[Iona, are you ok?] Eli's voice filled my head, drowning out everybody's voice,

[My head, the voices are very loud] I replied quietly, [but you seem to drown it out] I felt the warmth of a smile pass through me,

[I guess I'll stay here then] he joked, a small smile slipped across my lips,

[Are you ready to shift yet?] I asked, ['cause then we could all eat] I reminded him, his wolfy head dipped, and nudged into me, knocking me towards the doorway, my eyebrows raised. "Dude, I don't want to see you naked" I said. All heads snapped in my direction, I blushed bright red, "um", Luke chuckled,

"Do I want to know?" he asked,

"Well, I asked Beta Eli, if he would shift yet, as this meant we could all sit down and eat, since none of us have eaten since breakfast which was at 8 o'clock"

"And I pushed her towards the door so I could shift" Eli finished, he wrapped a bare arm around my waist and pressed a very obviously bare torso into my back, I gulped.

"We're just going to find him some clothes" I said quickly, grabbed a blanket which I shoved at him and yanked him out of the room, once we'd left the room I realised what I'd just done. I whimper escaped my mouth and a pressed my back against the wall, my legs gave way beneath me, as I slipped towards the floor.

"Hey, hey, hey" he said quickly rushing towards me. The blanket slipped and he quickly stopped to pull it up. "Ok, I'm going to find some jeans, since you're still wearing my t-shirt, and then I'm going to find out what's going on in your brain" he said running towards a different room. I put my head in my hands as tears began to fall down my face, would he punish me, I'd just man-handled the Beta of my very own pack, I'm an Omega, the very lowest of the low.
