I look in surprise at Loki, who still his a smirk plastered on his face.

"My name's Steve Rogers." I manage to get out, my words thankfully not failing me.

Loki laughs as he walks over to the edge of the cage, as close to me as he can get. "Whatever you say Cap." He smirks again, as he grabs a chair and drags it to where he was standing a moment before and sits back down.

"Don't make yourself too comfortable. I'm not staying long."

"Oh how that saddens me. Do stay longer, I have many things I want to discuss."

Loki says, raising his eyebrows.

"Discuss? Like what? And who says I'll listen to what you say?" I practically snarl.

"Me. And you'll listen because you would rather be here than on Midgard doing nothing or listening to Stark talk about his kids or Fury talking about his new recruits, making you feel useless. See something you don't understand Cap, is that I know everything. Even your darkest secret. You cannot hide anything from me, because I will find out what it is that you're trying to hide from me, and I will bring light to it and most likely use it against you. But nevermind that, I want you to know about me. Understand me." Loki looks me up and down, and I look down at what I'm wearing: my Captain America suit, holding my shield in case something had come up and I needed to fight.

"Why?" I look at Loki, a confused look taking shape to my features.

"Because, you're the caring type. And at this point I need someone to talk to. It gets lonely in the cage always alone everyday you know. Even us villains get sick and tired of it."

I shift my feet, starting to grow weary and uncomfortable.  "Well whatever you need to talk about, I guess I can listen, but doesn't mean I'll stay the entire time to listen to the man who almost murdered me and my friends talk about himself."

There's that smirk again. It suits him well, making his features light up. "That's in the past Cap. And aren't you a man to forget the past and worry about the present?"

I don't answer. Instead I shake my head and turn around, beginning to walk out of the dungeons.

I hear Loki laugh behind me. "See you tomorrow." He says, his voice sure and smug.

"Who says I'll be back tomorrow?" I call over my shoulder, not actually putting the effort into turning around and giving him the satisfaction of me looking at him.

"Because I know you Cap. You'll be back."

I don't respond as I leave the room, making my way back to the entrance to the beautiful palace and outside, taking  a deep breath of Asgard air, taking in the wonderful sites. I smile, thinking of the cherry blossom tree when the sun hits i just right, as I make my way back towards the rainbow bridge and to the Bifrost, ready to go home.

"Home, Mr.Rogers?" Heimdall asks as I make my way into the golden room.

I nod. "That would be great. Thank you Heimdall."

Heimdall smiles and nods, opening the Bifrost and sending me home. But not before saying, "See you tomorrow then."

Why does everyone keep thinking I'll return tomorrow?
