Thor drops me off in the dungeons, and I make the familair way to Loki' cage. This has been happeing for the last 3 months, me coming here everyday and listening to Loki speak about himself, and me sometimes speaking of myself, my visits getting longer each day.

When I grt to Loki's cage, someone else is standing in front of it. Odin. I slow down my pace of walking, as Odin smiles at me.

"It has come to my attention that you have been coming down to the dungeons to see Loki. And it also has come to my attention that Loki's time in the dungeons iw well over-due, and I decided that I will be releasing him today."

I look from between Odin and Loki. "And what does this have to do with me exctly?"

"Loki needs a place to stay. The only way for me to release him is if he isnt on Asgard, and the only other person he knows that doesn't live on Asgard is you."

"Plus I'm overly fond of meeting with you everyday to discuss things. Living together will give us even more time to do so. And have me accustomed to the human way of living." Loki smirks again, his smirk only for me, Odin not paying attention to Loki.

"Well, Captain? Is it a yes or a no?" Odin asks, his voice growing impatient as if he just wants to get Loki out of his hands.

I sigh. I would say no, because he's a guy, living with me, another guy, but after everything we've talked about over these past months, I would feel horrible if I denied Loki freedom. I nod. "Yes, I suppose I can handle Loki." I look at Loki as I say this, who grins as Odin nods, glad to finally have Loki out of his hands and handing him to someone else.

Loki grins. "How great. When can we go?"

Odin laughs. "Now, would be splendid." Odin looks over at me for conformation and I nod. Odin nods to one of the guards and he walks over, his boots clanging on the ground as he unlocks the barrier to Loki's cage, and Loki nods, clasping his hands behind his back and walking nobly over to me.

"Don't you have any persona thngs you would like to bring?" I ask.

Loki shakes his head. "Only you, but you're coming with me. Like a new puppy to an owner. I being the cute adorable puppy however."

I shake my head. "Please, no."

I look over at Odin. "Well, it's time for you two to get going. Thank you again Captain. I'll see you around."

I half grunt as Loki and I leave, making our way back to my house. Or should I call it our house now that Loki is living wth me?

Loki is quiet the entire way back to Midgard, Heimdall noding as he sends us on our way. We land back to at the cherry blossom tree, and Loki takes in the sight of the pink petals swaying in the light breeze.

"It's a Japanese cherry blossom tree Loki." I explain, looking at Loki instead of the tree.

"It's a beautiful tree. It saddened me how I never got to see the daylight during my imprisonment, but thanks to you, I can see the daylight again, and actually enjoy my life." Loki closes his eyes and lifts his arms lightly, letting the breeze ruffle his clothes and his dark hair.

"Well I didn't really have much to do with this. Odin was the one who decided to let you go." I watch Loki, as he lowers his arms as the breeze dies down, opening his eyes and looking at me, his green eyes burning into mine.

Loki's words shock me. "Well Odin may have set me free, but you helped me to get my wings back and learn to fly again."
