Unresolved Feelings

Prologue

It's been 3 years since Chelsea moved to London so she could be there for her mom.

Chelsea is sitting in Billie's hospital's room going over a few of her patients charts when she hears Billie wake up.

"Chelsea, honey. Please tell me that you didn't stay here all night?" says Billie worried that Chelsea isn't taking care of herself.

"Actually, yes mom I did. I was suppose to finish my shift last night but Trish asked if I could cover for her because she had a family emergency " replies Chelsea assuring her that she had to stay and why.

"Well, then you should go home to Max and the two of you can get some much needed rest after your double shift not to mention that Max is probably tired after the double shift that he had. " says Billie wondering if the reason as to why Chelsea is working so much is so that she doesn't have to think about the man she loved but walked away from him and never looked back.

"Mom, I'm fine. I went to the cafe and got myself a frappuccino. So, please don't worry about me. As far Max I called him last night and told him that I had to cover for Trish and I also told him that I wasn't going to be home so as to not to wait up." replies Chelsea trying to convince both herself and her mother by trying to make herself not think about the man who she had fallen in love with while being his patient first and than eventually getting involved with him after months of both of them denying there feelings and then later they realize that they couldn't deny them anymore so they decided to Pursue a relationship but the relationship was a short one  but long enough to walk away from him because he made a mistake.

"Chelsea, your my baby girl. I'm always going to worry about you. Now there is something that I've been wanting to ask you since the last time we talked before you decided to to move here with Max so I'm sorry for doing this and I know it's none of my business but can you tell me about your relationship with Dr.Daniel Jonas?" asks Billie curious about the man who her daughter said was the love of her life and than ended the relationship all because of her very own mother.

"Why, do you want to know about Daniel and me?" answers Chelsea knowing full well that this is where the conversation was headed.

"I'm just curious as to how you could easily fall in love with him one minute and than break with him the next because he screwed up.  He made a mistake. Granted he isn't the only one who is to blame for it your grandmother is also and I guess what I'm trying to say is would you or have you ever thought about going back to Salem and trying to work things out with him.  I mean now that you have had time to think things through?" says Billie trying to make her daughter see that she owes the man she loves the opportunity to explain himself.

"Mom, I'm not going to lie and say that I don't still love Daniel because I do. And to be completely honest  with you I've never really stopped  loving him. I just don't think that I could just go back to Salem and tell him that I want to work things out and that I would be willing to try again. Besides even if I did go back there is a huge possibility that he is ever involved in a relationship or worse he could be married."

""Chelsea, look at me." Billie says as she gently cups her face so that she can look at her ""Honey, if you still love him and  want to start over than you have to follow your heart back to the man who truly makes you happy and who you want to spend the rest of your life with. But before you can do that you feel have to end things with Max and than get up the courage and go back to Salem and tell him." Billie tells her.

"Yeah, your right. But I'm scared. What if I go back and it's too late?" Chelsea replies to Billie.

Well, if it is than you can wish him well and tell him that you still care about him and that no matter what happens that you still love him and  that you always will. Honey, do you have a picture of  you and Daniel together?" Billie asks.

Yes,I do actually. I have several pictures of of us together. Why?" Chelsea replies to Billie.

"I just wanted to see who he is and how easy it was for you and your grandmother to fall for him."

Chelsea gets her purse and searches her cell and scrolls through her pictures and sees several of them together and chooses one of them holding each other with Daniel behind her with his hands holding her around her waist and her hands on top of his with huge smiles on there faces and shows her mom.

"Oh, my god! You were right. He's gorgeous and the two of you look so happy together." Billie replies to Chelsea.

"I know. Did I ever tell you about how we fight encountered each other at the park and than officially met one another a few months later back at the hospital when dad's pancreas was failing?" Chelsea asks Billie.

"No, you haven't. But please come sit down and tell me everything and please don't leave anything out. I want to know everything including how your grandmother fits into why you ended your relationship with Dr. hot stuff and how everyone else handled it especially your father and grandfather because god only knows that after they found out about him and your grandmother that they probably wanted to run him out of town." Billie says as she can't stop looking at Daniel.

"Well, the only people who know the real reason about why I broke up with Daniel are Grandpa Victor, and Lexie. I didn't want to tell dad and than have him turn around and tell me "I told you so." Not to mention watching him and every guy in the family want to take turns beating him up for hurting me." Chelsea replies to Billie.

"Yeah, your right about that. But you know that you are going to have to tell him that is before you make up your mind about whether or not you want to get back together with Dr. Mc Dreamy." says Billie unable to stop looking at Daniel in the picture.
