Unresolved Feelings

Chapter 3

Just in a few hours Chelsea and Billie would be back in Salem and everything that Chelsea had left behind in Salem would be right there especially the man she had left behind.

While in her thoughts she soon comes out of her thoughts when she hears her mother calling her.

"Huh. Sorry. I was thinking about.........

Billie looks at her as she gives her a smile.

"You don't have to say anything. I know exactly where you were. You were thinking about Daniel."

Chelsea looks at her mother as she gives her a smile.

"Yeah, I am just wondering if I waited too long and when I get there I'll be too late. He'll be happily married to someone who makes him very happy.''

Billie looks at Chelsea as she reaches out and takes her hand in hers.

''Trust me. After everything that you have told me about the way that you two first met it's obvious that the two of you were meant to be together. Your grandfather calling him to come to Salem to treat your father is fate telling you that the two of you were destined to find one another. A love like yours isn't always over just because the two of you broke up. I am sure that given the time that has passed that he hasn't been able to stop thinking about you.''

Chelsea looks at her mother.

"You really think that him coming to Salem was fate?"

Billie returns the look.

"Absolutely. I truly believe in my heart that you and Daniel are each other's soul mates."

A few hours later the plane lands in Salem at the airport as they make there way off of the plane only to see Austin waiting for them.

"Uncle Austin!"

"Hey, beautiful! How was the trip?"

''It was good. I had a lot of time to think about things. Dad told me that you and aunt Carrie are going to be staying in Salem. Are we talking for good?''

Austin pulls back from the hug so he can look at her.

''That's what we're thinking. Come on, I'm sure that your anxious to get to see your dad and everyone.''

Chelsea looks at her Uncle.

''Yeah, I am. Dad and Daniel especially.''

Austin gives Chelsea a look.

''Is there something that you want to tell me?''

Chelsea returns the look.

"You mean, grandma Kate didn't tell you."

Austin returns the look as he immediately sighs in frustration.

"What did my mother do now?"

Chelsea looks up at her uncle with such hurt and sadness.

"Hey, come here. Whatever it was I can bet that your mother already knows about it, right?"

Austin leans in and wipes away her tears.

"It's okay. I'm here now and I'll make sure that she stays away. Come on, let's help your mom and get to the hospital."

Chelsea nods her head as she walks over to where they see Carrie talking to Billie.

"Chelsea! Hey, welcome back!"

Chelsea smiles at her aunt as she hugs her.

"It's great to be back. I've really missed being here. How is everyone?"

Carrie looks at Austin worried.

"Aunt Carrie, what's going on?"

Chelsea says to her aunt and uncle getting a strange feeling that something wasn't right.

"We better get to the hospital. There are so many people who just can't wait to see you."

Chelsea nods her head as she goes to help her mom when Carrie spoke up.

"I've got it, Chelsea. Go ahead and catch up with your uncle. Your mom and I have some catching up to do as well."

An hour later Chelsea and Billie finally arrive at University with Carrie and Austin and are getting off of the elevator with Chelsea holding her very hot cup of coffee only to bump into someone and spilling it all over his pants.

"What do you have against these pants?"

Daniel says looking down at his ruined jeans before he looks up to see her smiling as she repeated what she had told him that day they encountered one another in the park.

"Like I said the first time. I have nothing against your pants."

Meanwhile the remaining people were amazed and shocked at what they were seeing.

"Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that this has happened before?"

Both Chelsea and Daniel smile at each other before Daniel speaks up.

"Yes, it did. How about we tell you about it after she has seen Bo."

Chelsea smiles at Daniel when he takes her hand in his.

"Daniel's right. Go with Daniel. I'll be there in a few minutes. I'm going to go find your grandma."

"Austin, your Chelsea's Uncle?"

Austin nods his head.

"Well, then in that case I would love to hear all of the stories about this amazing woman."

"It would be my pleasure. How much time do you have?"

Chelsea looks at Daniel smiling.

"Come on. Let's go see your father."
