Unresolved Feelings

Chapter 1

"Did I ever tell you about how we first met each other first in the park and than officially met at University Hospital when I was visiting Dad."

asks Chelsea who can't help but smile as her mind takes her back to that day in the park.

"No, you haven't. But, please come and sit down and tell me everything and please don't leave anything out. And I want to know everything including how your grandmother fits into how you broke up with Dr. Gorgeous not to mention how everyone else handled it especially your father and grandfather because god only knows that after they found out about him and Kate that they probably wanted to run him out of town."

Billie says as she can't stop looking at Daniel in the picture.

"Well, the only people aside from Daniel, Kate and myself who know the real reason why I broke up with Daniel are Grandpa Victor, Lexie and Max. I couldn't bring myself to tell Dad that he was right about Daniel hurting me and to than hear say "I told you so." Not to mention watching him and every guy in the family taking turns beating him up for hurting me."

Chelsea's mind travels back in time asshe remembers how she and Daniel first encountered one another.

"Here you go, little guy. Want a peanut? Here's one for your friend. Remember the old guy that used to toss you guys peanuts all of the time? Well, from now on it's gonna be me doing the tossing 'cause my grandpa is not around anymore. (Sniffles) oh,, um, geez. Um.......

"I'm sorry."

"Did you just wipe your nose on my leg?"

"Yes, but I didn't mean to."

"Well, where we come from, we just use our sleeve."

""No, no. I mean, I don't normally do that. Normally I use a tissue."

"Chill. Chill. It's all good. It's all good. Just have a seat. Sit."

"I'm sorry. I feel awful. Can I buy you a new pair of pants or something?"

Daniel (Laughing) "No, that - - that won't be necessary."

"I've just had a really hard day. Uh...... my grandpa just posted away and my dad is really sick right now."

"I'm sorry about your dad and your granddad."

"Thank you. He was a really good guy. I'm going to miss him." Chelsea replies.

"Was that the grandfather you were telling the squirrels about?" Daniel replies back.

"Yes, I did." replies Daniel smiling.

"That's embarrassment." Chelsea replica.

(Laughing) No, , it's not. No, it's cool. It's cool. Your in touch with your emotions. Yeah, it's very healthy. So, you just go ahead and let it out. I got a whole other other pant leg." Daniel replies.

"That's very kind of you." Chelsea says smiling.

"No problems. Anything for a beautiful woman in distress." Daniel replies.

"Thank you. You have managed to make me feel a tad bit better."

"A tad? All right, well, I'm glad. But just in case why don't you keep this, all right." says Daniel as he takes ther hand and places the handkerchief in her palm.
