Kids Do The Darnest Things

Blinding lights from above were centered on the last performance for the night. I can't say I am extremely nervous but I think I should be since I was that last performance. I'd never really done this before so I didn't know when to start, but I assumed I could go when I was ready.

My fingers began to almost quite literally dance across the 88 keys in front of me. My mind was numb and I don't think I had fully recognized I had started. And before I knew it I was done. I looked up at the crowd ready to do the whole bow while they applaud thing, but instead, I entered a staring contest with the entire audience. Their black colorless eyes just looking at me... how rude.

As I gazed at the front row I examined each of the audience members, some had orange fur, others had brown, and some were even green. I was beginning to get a feeling in my chest I wasn't exactly sure how to describe so I just left, quietly closing my bedroom door behind me. That was not how I expected that to go.

I walked all the way to the place where food is always there waiting for me. I grabbed my plate and took a seat in the nearest chair. I was about to take my first bite when I realized, I'm a famous piano princess. Someone totally could have poisoned this! I quickly got up and decided I would eat later and watch the meal be prepared.

It doesn't take long to go to the desert from where I was so I decided to go there, I thought maybe I could build a castle for myself since I was outgrowing my current residence. Once I reached the sand I got busy going to work. I don't know why I didn't have people do this for me, maybe I'm just the best princess ever.  Nevertheless, I was finished within the next 15 minutes. I examined my work and decided it was amazing and I had to show the giants that lived with me.

When they saw the castle their faces lit up and they kept telling me how cool it was and how proud of me they were. I'm glad I have those guys around, they're pretty nice.

The next thing I decided to do was draw a mural on my current castle's wall. It was a very large mural and I put thought into each line I drew. The Giants though were not impressed.  These guys are pretty bi-polar.

Since I was mad at them for the time being, I decided to draw a picture of my friend casting a spell that made their eyeballs fall out. When I was finally done I was pretty tired but I wanted to give it to the Giants first. When they saw it I remember they taller giant said to the shorter one "Kids do the darnest things.." with an uncomfortable look. Satisfied, I went to bed and dreamt about my day.
