*bonus chapter in his perspective !!

he smiled, happily making his way to his locker to see his small blue letter of the day. but, before he could even put in the combination he heard his phone go off in his back pocket. it was from jimin.

2 new notifications:

chim: can you meet me at the rooftop after school?       
chim: it's important.

his smile faltered in confusion, quickly sending an "okay" before opening his locker. he frowned as he looked inside, it was empty. there was nothing but an old gum wrapper causing his face to drop. 

he felt a small pang in his heart.

he's been getting these love letters for about a month now and suddenly they're gone. those letters were what made him want to go to school in the mornings and what kept him going throughout the day. he doesn't know how to feel as he sadly made his way to his homeroom. he felt empty at the thought that the person who's been writing these letter didn't care about him anymore.

it was now after school and he felt his stomach bubbling with nerves. he didn't know what jimin was going to tell him and it worried him. he texted him very weirdly morning and wasn't as bubbly as he usually is. he just wanted to make sure that jimin was okay. he dismissed his thoughts as he made his way up the rooftop.

he opened the double doors and he got a glimpse of the empty rooftop. he looked around for jimin only to see a light brown teddy bear sitting on a bench holding a light blue letter that he knew oh too well. he felt his heart start to race as he grabbed the letter and opened it.

"my world became brighter when i met you. you complete me and i couldn't ask for more. your laugh is music to my ears and you mean everything to me. i love you so much that it's finally come the time that i tell you to your face."

his eyes widen in shock, everything was suddenly starting to make sense. the name "min" now suddenly started to make sense and he wondered why he never realized earlier. it wasn't until he heard the soft sound of jimin's voice from behind him that he everything came crashing down at once in his head.

"hi" jimin whispered lightly as his voice quivered in fear, causing him to turn around still in a state of disbelief. he looked up to see jimin's flustered face and smiled lightly. he shook his head as he felt tears starting to form in the corners of his eyes. jimin softly grabbed his hands and held them tight.

"i've loved you for as long as i can remember, but i had never gotten the courage to tell you. you mean the world to me and so much more. i felt like it was finally time i told you as i just couldn't hold back any longer. it was eating me alive and as selfish as it sounds i can't stand to see you with anybody else. it's okay if you don't feel the same i'll understand, but i just don't want you leave my life." jimin confessed, as his eyes faltered to the ground.

he felt like his heart was going to burst and he couldn't hold it back any longer. "i love you jimin." he choked, letting his eyes meet jimin's wide ones. jimin let go of one of his hands and softly wiped the tears away for his eyes.

"you do?" jimin smiled as the tears welled up in eyes. he smiled softly as he nodded his head, gripping onto jimin's not wanting to let go.

a pout formed on jimin's face as he suddenly realized something. "hey! i was supposed to say the special three words first. you just stole my one moment of spotlight."

he laughed, mumbling a small "sorry" before playing with jimin's hair. jimin caressed his cheek, grazing his thumb over his bottom lip before looking him in the eye. "is it okay if i kiss you?" he whispered, as his eyes grazed down to his lips.

he nodded quickly, letting jimin's soft lips meet his. he couldn't have imagined this to go any better and he couldn't believe this was actually happening. he felt like the happiest man in the world. he felt like his stomach was doing somersaults on a rainbow.

they both pulled away as jimin nuzzled his nose into the crook of his neck. he wrapped his arms around jimin's waist as he pulled jimin closer. feeling his warmth and wanting to stay in this position forever. they stood in silence for a while letting the peaceful sound of the wind take over.

the moment was then cut short when jimin uttered the words that he's been waiting to hear all along. to hear them come out of his mouth made him made him feel over the moon. nothing could top what emotions he was feeling right at this moment.

"i love you too jungkook"
