Everything is dark. A dark fog covers Eli's vision as he walks past the fog waving his hands around attempting to clear it. His arms became weaker and weaker as he tried more and more to clear up the room with the fog, but it was no use. He lost hope and gave up his arms sore lay beside him, they can't move anymore a figure comes closer. A tall figure with eyes of red tinted glass and skin of the same color fog. The creature glides it's pointy fingertip along Eli's face as blood trickles down soon after. Eli looks down below him expecting a pool of blood to be surrounded, but then he saw something much worse. A dead deer. His blood that fell from his face was not only dripping on the dead dear, but sizzling. Eli covered his face up in an attempt to prevent his blood from hurting the deer but it only hurt him "AAHHH" he screams, his hand burning from touching his own blood. He looks back down and the deer is gone. Not only is the deer gone, but there is a mirror. Eli stood there gazing into the mirror looking at the bloodstains on his face. He looked himself in the eyes and realized they were not his, but the monsters eyes that scarred his cheek.

Eli sits up in a rush from the nightmare. Tears coming from his eyes dripping down. He rushes to the bathroom and looks in the mirror hesitantly. Good. His eyes are back. Clear and blue, not blood red and glass. He sighs a breath of relief as he pats his cheek that was scarred in his dream, but perfectly fine now. "Eli!" Alyssa calls from outside the bathroom. "Hurry up I have to do my makeup! School is almost about to start you're going to make me late again!" Eli jumps out of the bathroom "sorry sis" he replies as he brushes his hands through his dark brown hair. He gets changed for school but doesn't want to go. He doesn't get the best of grades and sucks at math, so what's the point in going if you suck? Eli continues to dress and walks out the door with his backpack. He walks to the bus stop and sits on a big rock. Eli looks at the grass dancing in the wind, a cool breeze passing by as more red leafs fall. Red. He gets a flashback of the nightmare he had just last night as shivers run down his spine. No don't think about it Eli tells himself shaking his head. "You ok?" A guy asks. Eli looks up to see who it is. It's Eli's neighbor from across the street, Paul. They used to talk in grade school and sometimes in middle... but I guess they just drifted apart once high school started. It was Eli's second year now and nothing has really changed. Still doesn't have a girlfriend, good grades, good looks, still short, acne, everything bad in teen years you name it. Oh, and plus terrifying nightmares that feel realistic. Eli was thinking of wether or not to tell Paul about his nightmare to get it off his shoulders but he heard someone say in his head do it and you might not live until tomorrow. Eli freezes zoning out. Who was that? Surely not his conscious, it wouldn't threaten him like that. Eli wasn't even thinking of anything. "O-oh the bus is here" Eli points to the large yellow bus driving down the road. "Oh, um...yeah" Paul responds looking toward the bus, face shaped into confusion. Eli got on the bus and off to school. He didn't know wether or not he would be able to focus for the day...after that nightmare.
