Jerome: He's afraid that when he's on a roll of crazy, that he'll end up hurting you too.

Jonathan: He's afraid that he will accidentally insert fear toxin into you and then you will leave/be afraid him forever.

Edward: He's afraid that you will get tired of his riddles and puzzles and leave him.

Oswald: He's afraid that you will get hurt because he's the King of Gotham.

Jim: He's afraid that he'll get so caught up in work, that you'll leave him because of it.

Bruce: He's afraid you'll die and leave him like his parents did.

Victor: He's afraid that one day you'll get tired of him killing people and coming home bloody that you'll leave him.
