Mallory's POV "Mal, baby, get up" Jay whispered stroking my hair "Whyyyyy" I groaned "You guys have to announce the new groups today and start rehearsals" he explained before pecking my nose "Ok" I yawned and got up "Morning" he chuckled at my tired state "Morning" I sighed and getting dressed and putting on my adidas originals "Shall we go" Jay asked grabbing my hand as we headed downstairs to the little hotel conference room area "Hi boys" I smiled as they all sat down "Morning Mallory" they all chorused "Ok so todsy I'm going to announce the groups for you guys since the architects needed their sleep and didn't care about mine" I joked and the guys laughed "First group... Dorian, Brady, Mikey, and Jaden" I started "Yeah" they all cheered "Second group... Chance, Andrew Bloom, Andrew Butcher, Marcus, and Michael Conor" I announced "Which obviously means you 5 are together" I smiled "You have 30 seconds to come up with your names... go" I said and they started talking amongst themselves until I said times up The groups are Timeless Next Up And Maxed "Ok love the names, I believe Timeless is in rehearsal first. Tim texted me to take you guys to stage for some odd reason" I shrugged "Why are we going to stage" Marcus asked "Trust me, if I had a clue, I would tell you but I know nothing" I laughed Andrew Bloom decided to walk in first and he looked a little confused so the rest of us walked in "OOHHHHHH WERE HALFWAY THERE" he screamed "Tim" Chance asked And sure enough, we saw Tim when he turned around I had to hold the wall I was laughing so hard and I eventually just laid on the floor with Bloom and Chance laughing "Omg, what" I cried of laughter "She's literally crying of laughter" Michael points out which makes everyone else, including me, laugh again "Guys I feel like I'm gonna throw up, I laughed so hard" I giggled with tears rolling down my face Then the producers pulled me aside to interview me "So tell us, what did you see" the producer asks laughing "I saw Tim dressed as a rock star. It is the weirdest yet funniest thing I have seen in my life" I giggled "How did you feel" he asked "I was confused for sure. I'm pretty sure you could see confusion on my face" I explained and I walked back in "Omg look at you guys" I exclaimed laughing at their outfits "Oh this includes you Mal" Tim said throwing me an outfit telling me to go change I changed and he told me that I'm singing with them "She says we gotta hold on, to what we got. It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not. We got each other and that's a lot for love. We'll give it a shot" we sang "I quite like the harmonies with Mal in there" Tim nodded "Well I'm not a boy so no" I said "If I have my say, you're wearing this on stage" Tim explained "There's no way they're saying yes" I exclaimed laughing again "This tube top is uncomfortable" Marcus sighed "Marcus *holds in laughter* that's a crop top" I laughed and the guys laughed at him "Oh whoops" he laughed and that was a day for Timeless and now it's Next Up's turn "Hi boys" I smiled "Hello" they all said "So you guys know your parts and everything" I asked and they nodded getting started After the first verse and chorus, I stopped them "You guys aren't feeling the song as much as you should. How can you guys connect with the song" I asked "My brother and sister" Dorian said "I like to think of myself and maybe what Nick said last week was true" Mikey explained "Ok good. Do you two have anything" I asked "My dad. He's been in and out of jail my whole life and he still manages to act like the best dad he can be and love me and care for me. His true colors truly show" Jaden cried "What about you" Brady asked "I had this friend back in freshman year. I was pretty popular being on varsity volleyball and stuff. She was not very popular *tear rolls down cheek* and when she got just as much popularity as me, she stopped talking to me and started bullying me. I had to move schools to stop it" I cried remembering the horrible memory We all went in a group hug as we were all feeling the emotion "You guys can go" I sniffled trying to fix myself up for Maxed but they walked in as I was fixing myself "You ok" Sergio asked "Yeah, Next Up and I had a really deep conversation and I got a little emotional" I sighed They understood and we kept practicing "Jay make sure your pitch is nice and smooth, ok" I told him nicely and he nodded repeating the part "Much better" I smiled at him and he smiled back They rehearsed the song one time through, and then we all went back to the hotel "Food" I asked "Food" Jay said and we headed to Denny's cause who doesn't like pancakes at 6:30pm We sat down and ordered our drinks He went on his phone and I got a pic of him for my snapchat

"Cutie😘❤️" he put as his caption and I quite liked the picture "I kinda liek that picture" I shrugged and our food came "Pancakes at almost 7pm are the best" he stated "Agreed" I nodded We ate and then decided to head back to the hotel for the night "That was really fun" I yawned "Agreed" Jay nodded pecking my forehead "Wanna come to my hotel room" I asked "Sure" he replied and we went to my room to my mom still in Denver "My mom has been in Denver for more than a few days, wtf" I said "I'm sorry baby" Jay apologized hugging me "It's not your fault" I sighed "Lets just lay down" he suggested and we laid down on my bed for a bit I yawned and curled up in Jay's side "Go to sleep, I'll still be here" he whispered kissing my temple So I just closed my eyes, relaxed, and then I was asleep
