I love Jay and Michael
But I don't know, I need to ask someone

I knocked on Chance's door and it was just him, Devin, and Drew
"Hey Mal" Chance smiled and but he frowned when he saw me crying
"I need help" I sniffled
"What's going on" Drew asked as the boys gathered around me
"I love Jay, but I think I like Michael as well" I sighed
"Oh" Drew said
"Are you sure it's not brotherly love" Devin asked
"I don't know thought that's kinda why I came here since I'm just confused" I explained
"Makes sense, I think you need to think long and hard before you do anything" Chance said
"Also you said you like Michael but LOVE Jay, I think that should say something" Devin pointed out
He does have a point
"That's true, I'm just scared of making the wrong decision" I said
"Stay with Jay, that boy is going to treat you better than anyone in this world. However, it's your decision, not mine, but that's what I would do" Drew advised
"Thanks boys love y'all" I smiled and went to hang out with Michael

"Hey weirdo" he teased
"Asshole" I joked whacking his arm
"You doing better" he asked
"Yeah, I'm just learning to cope without him here. It's definitely an adjustment" I explained
"Yeah, I miss him too" he sighed and I started scrolling through insta
"Wanna watch a movie" Michael asked
"Sure" I shrugged and he turned one on

About halfway through the movie, I found Michael staring at me
"What" I laughed
"You're just really pretty" he smiled and my eyes went wide
"Can we, talk about this" I asked and he paused the movie
"What about it" he asked nervously
"Look, last night, when you were there for me, comforting me cause Jay left and stuff, I thought I felt something. I won't lie, but then I realized, it wasn't anything and I'm telling you this cause I don't want to lead you on, I thought I liked you and for like an hour, I thought I was sure but I was confused. Michael, I'm sorry. I will always love you, but as a brother" I explained hugging him and leaving the awkwardness
I went back to my room and Jay facetimed me since I saw the contact Babe😍💓
"Hiii" I greeted smiling
"Hey baby" he smiled
"How's it back in Vegas" I asked
"Pretty good, it's weird being back definitely and I miss you a lot" he sighed
"I miss you too, we all do" I explained
"How's being an architect now" he grinned
"It's fun, stressful but it's a good job" I nodded
"So anything new going on that I missed" he asked
Should I tell him about Michael? I don't wanna ruin their friendship
"Umm, Michael and I had a conversation earlier" I started playing with the bracelet Jay gave me
"What about babe, you're scaring me" he said
"I think I lead him on making him think I liked him over you. So I just explained I love him like a brother and I always will. I didn't want to shoot him down like that and I feel bad but I'm with you and that's what matters" I hiccuped "I also didn't want to ruin your friendship by telling you"
"Baby girl, please don't cry, I hate seeing you cry. It's ok, all that matters is your honest with me" he said reassuringly
"I also thought for like a minute I liked him but I was confused and realized it was just as a brother" I spilled
Jay stopped for like a second to take that in
"I'm ok with that, I'm glad you told me instead of keeping it to yourself" he said
"I thought you were going to yell at me" I sniffled
"No way, I'm not mad, you told the truth, I can't be mad" he said
"Good. Thanks for understanding the whole situation" I smiled
"You're welcome love" he said holding up a heart
"I wanna cuddle and it sucks. I'm stressed and ughhh" I groaned
"I know baby, I know. You should come to Vegas after the show is done" he said
"I don't know, I think my parents would want me back in Denver" I pouted
"So you're not moving to LA" he clarified
"I don't believe so" I said sadly
"I mean it could be worse, you could live on the east coast" he shrugged
"True" I laughed
"I have to go but I love you and I hope I'll see you soon" Jay smiled
"I love you too, byee" I waved holding up a heart

Then Jay posted a screenshot of our facetime on insta

I sighed cause I missed him a lot and just kinda curled up in my bed falling asleep for a few hours

I woke up to someone knocking on my door
"It's Devin, open up Mal" Devin said
"Hey Devo" I teased and motioned for him to come in
"Look, I know you miss Jay so I figured I would play a big brother role and cheer you up a bit" he cheered and I just looked at him
"Ok we'll work on that" he said and he dragged me out of the room to Cheesecake Factory for some food

Jay's POV
"So you want to go back to LA" my mom asked
"Yeah I miss Mal, she misses me. I wanna surprise her so I told Devin to take her out for a bit so I can pull this off" I explained at the airport
"Good luck Jay" Molly said hugging me and I was off to LA
Devin told me he hid her extra roomkey underneath the beginning of the door so I could get it easily
I got her candy, flowers, and starbucks cause you know, surprising your girlfriend with goodies will always make her happy
I just hid in the bathroom like what Devin told me to do and I eventually heard them come in
"Thanks Devin, that really took my mind off of things for now" Mal said
"Anytime" he said and kept her facing away from me but kept the camera hidden, pressed record, and that was my cue to walk out
I tapped her shoulder and when she turned around, tears started falling down her cheeks
"What, how" she exclaimed hugging me
"Hi baby girl I'm back" I cooed and she cried harder
"This is insane. Devin" she exclaimed and whacked Devin
"Surprise" Devin cheered
"Thank you though" she smiled hugging him and he walked out of the room leaving us alone
Then she kissed me full force
"I love you" she whispered
"I love you too babe, more than anything" I responded rubbing her back
