Mal's POV
"Oh shit, it's tonight" I mumbled under my breath as I was writing a new song for my new album (her new album will be Taylor Swift's) called Ready For It at 2:45 this morning and I'm performing so I'm just completely out of it
So I just passed out on the desk

Jay's POV
My alarm went off at 9:30 to assure myself that I don't oversleep and I notice that Mal isn't next to me
But then I look over and she's passed out on the desk

"Mal" I said shaking her a bit
"Huh" she groaned
"Time to get up" I laughed
"Ughhhhhh" she whined
"Are you good" I asked
"Nope, I was trying to write a song for my new album for my own good cause I want it out in November" she yawned
"Babe, don't push it, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen" I told her grabbing her wrists to get her to stop stressing out
"Fine" she sighed calming down
"Why are you stressing" I asked her sitting us down on the bed
"Cause, this new song, I changed my shound for this whole album, soooo. I'm afraid people won't like it" she explained
"But with artists, especially now-a-days, people love when artists change their sound cause it's like listening to the same songs" I said to her and wrapped my arm around her

Mal's POV
"Thanks Jay" I smiled gently kissing his cheek and going to shower for tonight
I did everything that I needed to do and changed into a sweatshirt (Jay's), some leggings, and some Uggs as I headed to the stage
"Hi Mal" Lauren smiled hugging me
Lauren is my wardrobe/makeup artist/hairstylist person btw
"Hi" I grinned returning the hug
"You ready to see your outfit" she smirked
I nodded smiling and she showed me the outfit

"I'm so for it" I exclaimed and changed into it
I also posted this on insta to get the word out about the finale

And I got backstage to watch until it was my turn to perform
I was performing right after Sofia Carson since we were going to get switched under the stage
At this point, Brady is already in the band and Rita just performed and Sofia is about to
"Can you show me all the ins and outs. Makes it easier to love you" she finished and then got dropped down with me coming up with the mic stand and the backgroud completely changing to dark and mysterious
Everyone was cheering so loud, I thought I was going to be deaf

"I'm sorry, the old Mallory can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, *goes over by an old picture of her and swipes it* cause she's dead" I sang in the voice making the crowd go crazy and look at me in shock
"Look what you made me do look what you just made me do" I finished posing and everyone was screaming soooo loud
"That was iconic" Nick said to me
"Oh my gosh I love how you took your ex manager being disrespectful towards you and wrote a hit song out of it is incredible, anything you want to say to him" Emma said
"Um thank you for giving me my fave song to write about and I can't say anything else without getting kicked off television" I explained
"Mal, I'm so proud of you and we will be so happy when you're officially apart of the family on girl group" Timbo said
"Thanks Uncle Timbo" I laughed

Jay's POV
"Yo that was insane" Miles told me when Mal just popped up
"I know right" I agreed
And there was one line that stuck out to us
"I'm sorry, the old Mallory can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, cause she's dead" she sang and swiped the old pic and in came a new and hot pic of her😍

After her performance, the crowd was literally screaming 150% louder than usual

Then Chance and Drew were announced into the group when Mal came down and joined all of us
Jon looked confused as hell but Butcher, Bloom, Miles, and Cam all hugged her

Mal's POV
"You did so good" Bloom smiled
"Thanks Bloom, I've missed ya bro" I said hugging him
"How the hell do you know Mallory Baudin" Jon asked
"She's my girlfriend" Jay said hugging me
Jon's eyes basically bursted out of his head
"Ok, I have to hear this story" he joked
"So originally, I was just going to help out during rehearsals with every group for the liveshows. So when it got to helping out Element, Miles and Bloom, and I believe Devin as well, started making fun of Jay for having a crush on me and I heard it and started turning bright red, Jay called me adorable and I blushed even more and he asked me out on a date afterwards" I explained shrugging
"Awww that's adorable, but I'm a huge fan that's why I was shocked" Jon said
"Aww means a lot Jon! I love your new album btw" I smiled
"Thanks" he grinned and we turned back watching the rest of the show

The last two to get announced were Sergio and Michael and we were all on Cloud 9 for mainly Michael and Brady but the other guys too
The performance was a banger and then we were allowed on stage

"MIKEY" I exclaimed and hugged my big bro (not really but was sure like one)
"Hey lil sis, you crushed it" he smiled into the hug
"Thanks, look I'm sorry you didn't make the band but you have a bright future ahead of you" I told him
"Thanks Mal" he said going to talk to the other boys

After I congratulated all the boys, I saw Jay's fam so I went up and hugged all of them
"Ok so Jay told us your situation about home" Jodi said
"Yeah, not ideal" I winced
"You can stay for as long as you need, or until you get that apartment of yours" she told me
"Are you sure, I don't want you to intrude on anything" I said
"Hun, you're one of us now, don't worry" Papa Hype said
"Thanks" I smiled and hugged all of them
"Trust me, you'll love Vegas" Jay assured me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders
"Well lets all go to bed" Jodi said and I laid down on Jay's bee
"Night Jay" I smiled
"Night babe" he whispered cuddling into me before falling asleep as well
