I hit send on my phone, hoping Tamara, my best friend, reads the message fast. She's literally the only person in the entire world who understands my love for Shane Dawson. I don't think I even understand it myself. I smiled when I saw her reply.

Ooooooh, sounds great Haley! I'll do it right now!

I've been a fan of Shane since the crazy Shanaynay, Aunt Hilda, Ned and S-Deezy days. I am an OG Shane fangirl. I've seen him twice during his two book releases. I'm so proud of how he far he's come.

I fell in love with him. I didn't expect that. But he makes me so happy. He's the one person who I can come home to and just laugh for hours. He's funny, beautiful, and kind. You can't ask for more. You just can't.

When I see people complaining that his content changed, I say screw them. If he doesn't want to make those short films like he used to, fine. He seems so much happier nowadays. I don't want him to be pressured into doing something he doesn't want to do.

It's weird though because I want him to be successful. I want him to achieve his dream of becoming a director/actor. But I don't want him to be too famous because I'm afraid that he will slip away from us fans.

Done. I sent the application..... fingers crossed!

I hope Tam and I get to go to VidCon as employees (we're broke high school seniors who don't have enough money). Shane is popular for saying he doesn't like going to VidCon, but who knows! He might just be there. I sure hope he goes.
