If They Only Knew

Louis P.OV.

As I walked down the hallway holding Zayn's hand we looked like the perfect couple. I was the Captain of the Soccer team and Zayn was captain of the football team. We walked down the hallway hand and hand while everyone gave us smiles. Everyone thought that me and Zayn had the perfect relationship. We were the schools "it" couple everyone wanted to be around us. If only they knew. If only they knew what was really going on and that the smile on my face was just to cover up the pain I felt inside. If they only knew what Zayn did to me behind closed doors. If they only knew that Zayn was squeezing my hand so tight right now I thought that my fingers might break.

As we got to my locker at the end of the hall he let go of the painful grasp he had on my hand he whispered in my ear "I'm going to warn you, you better not tell anyone you hear me?" He didn't give me time to answer before he said "because if you do, oh if you do it will be worst than last time." He pulled away and smiled at me then greeted his teammates who were coming down the hall. He turned around just before he went around the coroner and winked at me.

I felt a pit in my stomach as I turned and put my things in my locker. If everyone only knew what Zayn was capable of, if they only knew I had no way out. Nobody knows what he does to me but I remember it because the memory of each time is burned into my brain. I can remember the time and the place where everything changed where it when from a romantic novel into a horror movie in a split second. I can remember the first time Zayn hit me. I slammed my Locker shut to get rid of the memory and a tear rolled down my check I wiped it off quickly before putting a smile on my face and walking to my first class.
