My phone almost slips out of my hands . My eyes widens at those words.

Well the message you just read was from my dear sister ...

She said she's  coming soon !!
That can't happen right ..

She can't know there is a kid in the house!!
And moreover that kid calls me her mom.!!!

What - what if she comes tomorrow????
Wait what if she already boarded the plane and is on her way to London .
Noooo!! What if she even reached London.
What if she's just five minutes away from home....
What if she's at  the door and is about to-

As if on cue , there is knocking on the front door and my phone slips from my palm and land on the floor with a loud thump! !

Darn !

I pick it up to see little scratches on its screen.

Sadly i don't have a keyhole on my front  door to peek through it and check whether it is Hailey or not .

So I do one thing ....I climb up the window besides the door ......I'm lucky to have it ....It is made of some special material where the person inside the house can see everything outside but the person outside isn't able to see anything inside.

"AHHH...it is too high " I mutter trying to climb it .

Holding the grill tightly  by both hands ...I keep my one foot on the windowsill  and my other hanging in the air .

"Mommy" Nora's soft voice echoes through the silent room.

I look at her over my shoulder as she rubs her sleepy eyes with curiosity seeping through them .
"Shhh" I shush her before the person  outside can hear anything.
