Background: Chaeah was born in Manila, Philippines to her mother and father and lived there until she was 14. When she was 3, her mother gave birth to her younger brother and they got along quite well. Chaeah was always known as the cool girl in school as she grew up trilingual [speaking Korean, Filipino and English at home]. When her and her family moved to Korea, Chaeah was not happy at all. She refused to go to her new school as she knew no one there, and didn't want to be lonely in school. However, her mother coaxed her into going and on the first day, Chaeah made a lot of friends.
