”Brooke Shields looks so perfect in the movie," sighs James.
Mei Mei didn't quite know what to make of his comment. If this was a date, that would be a quite a inappropriate, and possibly infuriating thing for him to say. But if this wasn't a date... then what had she just spent the last two hours doing?
"Let's get a drink here." He stepped into the cool interiors of McDonald's located just downstairs of Lido and quickly secured a table for both of them.
Ten minutes later after two Big Macs, one large fries, one Apple pie and two Cokes, James fixed a steely look on Mei Mei.
"So are you keen on Tom?"
She was completely thrown by his question. Ok so this definitely was not a date but shaping up to be one strange outing.
"Look he is a really good guy and you're..." He paused and then sighed, "... you're really lucky."
Then it hit her. She smiled and said, "Tell him to listen to Radio One tomorrow at 9.10pm."
