How I plan to tell my parents I'm Non-Binary and Pansexual:
I'm 16. I have my own car. It has a full tank of gas in case this goes wrong. I've asked my fellow LGBTQ+ friend to let me spend the night at her place.
My best friend is by my side. I stand close to the door and say,
"Mom, I'm genderless and Pansexual. Now. I'm gonna leave and tell dad, go to a friend's place who's prepared celebratory rainbow coming out cookies and wait for you to text me and tell me you still love me while in reality the small tiny bit of love you hardly had for me in your heart is turning into dust and being stomped on as you try to forget I ever existed."
