The Battle Begins

Morning came, and I was the first one awake. I decided to go for a bit of a wonder, mostly to snoop around near the Natives camp-site.

I could smell fire nearby, and I could spot smoke coming above and through the trees. When I got closer, I could over hear people arguing, of course I couldn't understand them.

I then realised that they must of came from somewhere near the Fiji island. My old teacher had discussed it with us, and that was one of the days I had actually listened in Geography.

I went back to camp and waited until everyone was awake. Then I told them that today was the only day that we could put our plan into action.

After we had breakfast, we got all of the weapons ready. We started to move out of the camp-site, and gradually move towards the Natives camp-site.

When we had gotten close enough to the camp-site, we had to make sure that we all moved softly and quietly passed, so they wouldn't recognise we were there.

The natives looked towards us and started running. My heart sank and I was scared out of my wits. I panicked and yelled out, "Quick, RUN! We need to get to that boat."

They started running as fast as their legs could carry them. When we all got to the boat, we all boarded on. The others pushed the boat out onto the water and quickly jumped on board before the boat carried us out to sea.

I looked back at the island. I would never forget this place. It was a life's story, worth telling and someday I would share it to my children, and their children's children and hopefully it will go on.

I wanted everyone to know my Journey!!!

I hope it's getting interesting.
