Silverstar's Destiny

Chapter 11

" I never was like you!"

Silvertail walked past Ravenpaw and Blackstripe,she had some prey in her mouth .It had been a couple of days since Ravenpaw and Tigerpelt had that fight, she wondered if Ravenpaw was trying to protect her because they were friends.Or at least that what she thought...

"But Ravenpaw you have shown me your true power!"Blackstripe smiled"I want you to use it during training to become a warrior!"

"A warrior? You only care about me coming you!" Ravenpaw shouted back

"You wont come any more good if you stay like this" Blackstripe turned his back onto Ravenpaw "Your not like your brother...and you wont this way"

Blackstripe walked off with a unimpressed look on his face, while Ravenpaw sat down with his head down, tears falling from his face.Silvertail walked over to him and sat with her tail around him.She laid her head onto his head.

"You don't have to feel sorry for me..." Ravenpaw sobbed

"I want to..." said Silvertail " And why were you crying?"

"He is always comparing me to other cats and how my life should be!"Ravenpaw sobbed "He keeps on controlling me! Even before I came to this clan!"

"Oh..."Silvertail replied"So how you going with the incident?"

"I rather not speak about it..." he growled

Silvertail got angry and walked away

"Maybe I'll just walk away and leave you alone..." Silvertail growled back as she walked away

About a moon later,It just turn midday and everyone was near the High Rock, every one was buzzing with excitement.Ravenpaw was nowhere to be seen, while Tigerpelt laid near the mediciene cat den.

"Every cat gather to the High Rock for a clan meeting!"Moonstar yowled
Most of the cats were already there, so Moonstar started of with some news.

"We have a new warrior!" Moonstar mewed "he has trained hard enough and has shown his loyalty to MoonClan"
""I Moonstar leader of MoonClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice.he has trained hard to understand the ways of the noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn.Ravenpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this clan even at the cost of your life?"

"I do" Ravenpaw sat on top of the high rock
Silvertail was shocked...she didn't expect Ravenpaw to come a warrior after that fight with Tigerpelt.Still she thought it was time for him to become a warrior.
Just don't get into anymore fights...

"Then by the powers of star clan I give you your warrior name.Ravenpaw  from this moment on yow will be known as Ravenclaw Star clan honours your virtue of kindness and your loyalty and we welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan" Moonstar meowed
"Ravenclaw! Ravenclaw!" The crowd of cats cheered.Silvertail felt so happy for him, but at the same time confused. She didn't understand why Moonstar made him a warrior after that fight.

Moonstar hopped down from the high rock and slid into her den, Ravenclaw bounded of the rock and went straight to Silvertail
"Sorry about before" Ravenclaw smiled "I wasn't feeling good"
"Don't worry!" Silvertail laughed "Don't stress!"
"So finally after several moons, I'm a warrior!" Ravenclaw looked around " being a apprentice for so many moons is boring!"
"I bet it was"Silvertail laughed
"Now my goal is to be tough" Ravenclaw nodded "I can't stand myself being weak..."
Silvertail tilted her head sideways and laughed,she was finally seeing him change something in him.
"...I can't keep crying like a kit now!" Ravenclaw mewed so determinedly "I'm a Warrior I should grow up!"
"You go do it!" Silvertail cheered "I will be behind your back!"
"Thanks..." Ravenclaw sat down "But you don't really have to"
"Your my friend!" Silvertail sat next to him "I can't let you do it alone"
"So be it then..." Ravenclaw laughed " if that's what you really want!"
Silvertail and Ravenclaw sat next to eachother just looking out to the sun high above.The trees swayed as the wind passed, leaves brushed past as the wind twirled them around.
"I see..." snarled a voice. It was Tigerpelt
Ravenclaw got up onto his paws and whipped around "What do you want now?!" Ravenclaw hissed "You're such a pain!"
"Your trying to take her from me...aren't you?" Tigerpelt growled
"No!" Ravenclaw went hot, but hissed at the same time"We are ju-just friends!"
"Oh really?" Tigerpelt laughed "You care about her way to much! You protecting her right now!"
"Shut up you piece of fox dung!" Ravenclaw hissed as he unsheathed his claws and went in a defensive position."You don't know everything!"
"Oh...I do" Tigerpelt unsheathed his claws crouching "I overheard you liked some she Cat...like Silvertail"
Ravenclaw eyes narrowed, and he growled louder.
"It's obvious you like her...you hang around her way to much" Tigerpelt snarled "She's mine so you're not having her!"
"Give her a break!" Ravenclaw snarled " She doesn't need you around to boss her around!"
"She's mine!" He hissed "She said she loved me! Right Silvertail?"
The two toms spun around looking at Silvertail, with narrowed eyes, bristled fur and claws unsheathed.She looked at Tigerpelt, but sighed
Am I really doing this? Choosing wether not to be with Tigerpelt or To be with him...
"Silvertail shall decide what she chooses" Tigerpelt mowed
Everyone was looking at Silvertail,crowded around the fight.She was wondering why Moonstar or any other cat, was going to stop this fight.
"I-I..." Silvertail began
She couldn't decide...She felt like melting, or rather running away.
I'm not choosing...it's up to them
"Who ever gets to me first will decide for me!"Silvertail eyes filled with tears.
"Huh?!" Ravenclaw and Tigerpelt meowed
She ran of into the fresh green forest,leaves falling from trees.She stumbled on a few branches, hurting her leg.No time could be wasted,she stopped to find a tall tree.The tree had glittering crystals hanging from a few branches.There was a hole in the tree, so she decided to hide in there.As she walked in, she found a pool of glittery water with a waterfall.She gazed around in amazement,looking into the pool full of hidden gems.Behind the water fall was an amazing rocked carved with mysterious markings.A couple of branches hung above with some vines, finishing with some holes where a cat could fit in.Silvertail smiled as she entered into the holes.She shuffled more into the hole to find it was a tunnel.The tunnel got bigger as she crawled further into the tunnel.She smelt a strange flower smell as she got closer to the exit of the tunnel.As she she did she soon found another secret cave.The cave was massive!It had a large glittering pool,surrounded by the trees and rocks.Near the pool was some big patches of grass with some bushes laying around.Above was the sky looking down onto the pool.She couldn't believe what she was seeing! The rays of the sun deflected down onto the pool, making the rocky walls shimmer with light.Silvertail walked further near the pool to see a tall grassy rock,covered with moss and sparkling stones at the bottom.The rock was located on the other side of the large pool,so she decided to take a walk over there.It was about 17 foxes in length,so it took her a while.When Silvertail finally Reached the rock,behind it was a hole which lead inside the rock.The entrance of the hole was decorated in dangling vines and moss around the edges.She stepped inside,but as she did she heard a whisper.
Ah finally some cat found us!
Silvertail fur was bristled,she shook her head and continued to search inside.In side was like a leaders den,it had moss...but it was dried out.
This of must been a old clans den!Amazing!
Silvertail stepped out of the rock,as she did another whisper whispered into her ear.
You are the one who should know what happened...
Silvertail spun around to see nothing...she thought she was day dreaming.She turned back to she a ghostly figure of two cats .One of the cats was small and had a pale silver pelt with black stripes everywhere with purple eyes.The other was a big, reddish orangish cat with white paws and a white muzzle,with Amber eyes.They both stood in front of Silvertail.
"You have found this mysterious place, dear one" softly meowed the pale silver she cat "We have found you! You're an descendant of one of us!" The other cat mewed
Silvertail gazed at the two in shock.She didn't know what was going on
"Fortunately you are one of us!"The she Cat smiled"You have a special power like us!"
"Wait...what?!"Silvertail questioned the she Cat " I don't understand!"
"I guess StarClan didn't interpret the omen right..."sighed the she Cat"Everyone in our clan had special powers right?!"
The tom nodded,he sat down and looked at the she Cat
"Maybe we should introduce ourselves?"he narrowed his eyes" I'm Maplestar and this is Mistylight"
"I'm Silvertail..." she looked at the ground "Is this where your old clan was?"
"Yes!" Mistylight jumped up"Oh, it was so good back in the days where we had powers!"
"True,very true...Our clan was built on this place.Every cat had something special, for example Mistylight had the power to control the light"Maplestar began "I had the power of extreme strength.We all had some power till the day Power was overcome by two of our warriors"
"Riverstream and Darkflight didn't have any kind of power when growing up,and still didn't get it.I heard they had a evil power,but for sure I knew they used it to control cats minds"Mistylight
"So how did your clan die?" Silvertail asked
"Oh well one day, Darkflight used his power against his clan and depleted all of us!"Maplestar sighed"I knew it was coming"
"Don't go hard on yourself!"Mistylight growled"You did your best after all!"
"I-I know" Maplestar sighed "I wish we were still alive"
"Yeah..." Mistylight nodded
Silvertail heard a slight meow,she turned around and panicked.
"Whats that?" Maplestar and Mistylight whispered
Silvertail spun back around and the two cats disappeared. Ravenclaw struggled  through the rocky entrance. His purple eyes lit up, making himself free from the rocky entrance
"Silvertail!"He ran over to Silvertail
He rubbed his head all over Silvertail,making Silvertail go hot.
"Oh Great StarClan! You're ok!" Ravenclaw panted"It took me forever to find you!"
Silvertail wrapped her tail around Ravenclaw, and smiled.
"I'm glad you came..."Silvertail meowed"...I was kind of scared"
Ravenclaw stopped rubbing his head all over Silvertail, and stepped back.He looked around to see the place Silvertail found.
"Did you find this?" He asked
"Yeah..." Silvertail replied "...Isn't it beautiful?"
Ravenclaw turned around and smiled
"Not as beautiful as you!" Ravenclaw smiled. His ears went hot, but he didn't care what he said...he just wanted Silvertail to be safe.Silvertail went hot  as well,she looked down at her paws and smiled awkwardly.
"Let's head back!" Ravenclaw rose to his paws "You must be hungry"
So Silvertail and Ravenclaw weaved their wave back through the rocks till the got to the tiny waterfall.The both slowly padded to the entrance and carefully climbed down the small slope.They both calmly walked along the forest trail which lead exactly to their camp.

" I proudly make you our new warriors of our clan!" Moonstar yowled
Ravenclaw and Silvertail finally made it back to camp, where everyone was sitting below the high rock.
"Goosefur! Leafwhisker!" The crowd of cats chanted
Silvertail walked up to her siblings and smiled
"Congratulations!" I laughed " Soryy I couldn't be there!"
"No big deal!" Leafwhisker smiled
"But we are warriors now!" Goosefur meowed"Isn't it exciting?"
"Sure is!"Leafwhisker jumped up "Can't wait to go on patrol!"
Silvertail has never been on a patrol as a warrior, maybe it was time she went for a walk near the lake.Silvertail padded over to Aspenfall
"Can I go on a patrol?" Silvertail asked
"Uh sure you can go on the hunting patrol with Lionsun,Wolfpelt and Foxheart"Aspenfall replied "They are about to go hurry"
I'm only going to clear my head!
Silvertail jumped over to the entrance where Wolfpelt,Foxheart and Lionsun were standing.
"I heard you're joining us?" Lionsun narrowed his eyes
"Yeah..." Silvertail nodded
"You know you haven't been on a patrol for a while!" Wolfpelt laughed "What have you been doing? Sleeping?"
"No I w-" Silvertail got broken off by Wolfpelt laugh
"I was joking!" She smiled and turned away " let's go before it gets too late!"
"Who said you were in charge?!" Foxheart growled
"I was just saying! Why can't you cheer up?!" Wolfpelt turned around and got into her sister face " Don't be such a fun killer!"
"Hey you two focus!" Lionsun sighed "We're going to hunt near the FireClan border"
"Aww..." Wolfpelt meowed"Why can't we hunt near the SnowClan border?"
"Remember what Duststar said at the gathering, Wolfpelt?" Foxheart rolled her eyes" She said the river was wild around there, apparently..."
"What happened to the river near the SnowClan border" Silvertail asked
"Well...since during leafbare, they had a few snow storms and the river is covered by ice and thick piles of cold, freezing ice" Lionsun looked up to the blue sky "Duststar is protective of his "river " apparently..."
"You are clueless for a warrior your age!" Wolfpelt laughed " Don't worry! I was like that when I was younger!"
"And annoying too..." Foxheart sneered
"I heard that!" Wolfpelt ran off to catch a vole
Everyone is so happy with living a strange life...but why can't I make good decisions like them?
"Hey Silvertail" Foxheart turned to her " I know what your going through..."
"Huh?" Silvertail turned her head
"Choosing between choices...like choosing between what to do" Foxheart meowed"Choices are hard to make! Trust me!"
"I know..." Silvertail looked down "Hey Foxheart..."
"Yeah?" Foxheart narrowed her eyes
"I-I don't know if I love Tigerpelt anymore..." Silvertail looked up"He thinks he owns me!"
"If you say that...just follow what your heart says!"Foxheart sighed "I experienced the same thing as you...choosing between to toms for the sake of your love for them"
"It's just...I never thought about, if I loved him in the first place"Silvertail closed her eyes "What if I was waiting to be loved...but then I realised it's about who I love"
"Follow what your heart is saying!" Foxheart rolled her eyes "Just get hunting, you!"
I've decided what I should do now! I'm gonna love somecat else! I don't care if Tigerpelt gets mad...it's my own life and fate that matters!
