He rolled over and grabbed his phone only to find that it was dead. He grunted and then found his charger in the dark. The cramped dorm room smelled like musty, stale beer that had spilled on the floor and clothes from the night before. His roommate was nowhere to be seen and it appeared to be bright and sunny out. What had happened last night?
Once the phone was on and charging, he scrolled with his right hand and scratched his messy red hair with the other. Texts, twitter, instagram tags, and some snap chats confirmed the pounding headache as a well deserved hangover. There were pictures of him and a beautiful girl, really hilarious selfies actually, and the smile on the girls face and the look in her eyes made his heart jump.
Did he remember that girl? He closed his eyes and tried to make the face in the picture a reality in his mind. He remembered a girl - a beautiful one, and he remembered buying them another round and talking to her as she was surrounded by her friends. Of course, he wanted to get her alone but her friends wouldn't let that happen. He remembered it all now, slowly it was coming back to him. He rubbed his eyes again and when he opened it up he saw something written on his hand. He brought his hand closer to his eyes and smiled - a phone number written across his left palm with a sharpie. He quickly typed the number into his phone - he didn't have it already, so he assumed it was the girl's. Oh, how he wished he remembered her name.

In another dorm room, just a few hundred feet away, the blonde in the pictures woke up to a friend that lived off campus asleep in her bed with her, clutching a bottle of water in one hand and a trashcan in another. Ow she thought to herself realizing the pounding in her head. She sat up slowly and pushed her glasses onto her nose. She reached for her phone to see if she could piece together the night. Nothing. Just some pictures she took with her girls. The girls that were asleep on her floor, her bed and in her roommates bed.
She waited for them to wake up to grill them on the night. Typically, Taylor did not get that drunk, but being the first weekend back on campus after having spent a summer volunteering and working with children - she didn't drink at all, so from the first weekend May to the last weekend of August the tolerance she built up last year had gone to waste. She was pretty much back at square one and drank last night like she could in the spring. She grumbled to herself, calling herself bad things as she took some tylenol and drank some water. She desperately needed a run, a shower, and a bacon egg & cheese on a bagel - asap.
Finally, the girls started to wake up, and she began to drill them on the night. There was boy, she had met someone, someone that she wouldn't stop talking to. He bought them both drinks, and spent the time to make sure he got in good with her friends. He didn't force her to dance with him or try to take her home. He was a really good guy from what they could piece together. And pretty cute. She smiled to herself, good job Tay! she thought as she instantly took back the bad words she was calling herself minutes earlier. How would she ever find him again? She had given him her number - by writing it on his hand with a sharpie. Their phones had died before they were heading back to the dorms so she went old school apparently. She smiled again - he'd better call.

Later in the afternoon, around three or four, Ed sat in his bed on Facebook trying to find this girl based on the pictures in his phone. No luck. He debated on not calling or texting, the roommate told him to go for it because she's hot. Sure, she was hot - very hot. But that's why he wasn't sure if he wanted to call her because of the fact of the way that she was looking at him in the pictures. This girl screamed out-of-my-league but he felt like he was falling in love. Was it possible to fall in love at first sight with a picture? Or had he felt like this last night and just couldn't remember it.
