RovanaI wake up with a jolt. "Thank God." I hear an annoyingly familliar voice beside me speak. I feel a hand brush past my own, holding it tightly. I look beside me to see a worried Wanda, her face looking tired.
I observe my surroundings and i let out a breath when i realize i was in my designated room, safe, here, in the Avengers tower.
I stare at Wanda for a while, and i see she was still wearing the same clothes as i last saw her. I dont remember how much ive slept, but it felt like years, and im just hoping that's not anywhere near accurate.
"How are you feeling?" Her faint voice reeks of worry, yet i could still determine the tiredness lace upon her words. I look at her in the eyes, giving off a faint smile. I scoot a little to my right, patting the space beside me.
"Do you want me to call in the others? They're very worried as well." I sit up, laying my back on the headboard.
"Im absolutely fine, if that's what you're worrying about. Come on, lay beside me, you dont look fine at all." I smile wildly at her, trying my absolute best to let her worry fade off.
"I dont need rest, Wanda, I dont feel tired at all. I think you're the one that needs much rest. How long have i been asleep?" I ask her as she lays beside me, her eyes begging to close.
"For about twelve hours or so, didnt ever thought a god can sleep for so long." She jokes, a small smile on her lips as she close her eyes, her head resting on one of the pillows on the bed i occupy.
"Everyone was worried, Rovana. You were just laying here, pale and everything. We didnt exactly really know how to nurse someone besides vision, and he just told us you'll be fine once you rest, so we just... waited."
"Im sorry if I ever made you worry. I didnt know what happened, something in me just.. snapped." Wanda nods at my short explanation.
"We know." She paused, "Vision looked into you, Rovana, and i dont think i should be the one to tell you this, i dont understand it completely myself, so i think i should let you talk to Vision about it."
My eyebrows furrow in both curiousity and a hint of unknowing. "I dont understand."
"We dont understand a lot of things." Tony Stark comes in the room un noticed, his eyes covered with a black pair of sunglasses, hovering above his nose.
"Sometimes its better that way." He finishes off. "You're quite the sleeper, bombshell. Id take self credit for that." He talks casually, walking closer to mine and Wanda's direction.
"May I?" Tony asks Wanda as she nods, standing up. "I'll leave you two to talk while i take a shower. I'll come back up to talk to you." She tells me while walking to go outside.
"No, no, you should rest. Get some sleep. I'll be fine by my own. You need more rest than i do." I tell her while waving her off and she gave me a greatful smile. "Okay. Call me if anything." Wanda says her last words before she looks away, and completely leave the room.
"Okay, kid—oh, wait, no, im sorry." Tony lifts his fore finger to his mouth, shushing himself.
"goddess, princess whatsoever," he grins at me as i return the favor, smiling back at him, knowing it was Tony Stark's way to lift my spirits up.
"Okay Mister Tony Stark," I playfully ride along his talk, "What do you need from me?" I tell him directly, as his face slowly become serious.
"I think you might have to go somewhere a little away, Rovana." He pauses as i squint my eyes.
