(Y/N) was watching the world from hanging upside down on the branch of the willow tree in the courtyard. She found it curious how everyone seemed to hang off the earth. Like an alternate dimension. A second later, something ran across her tummy, it was a white blond color and looked like a ferret.
"What are you doing here Mr. Ferret?" she asked
He chirped and put a paw on her knee,
"You aren't like any other ferret I've met, ah I'll bet you're wondering what I do up here...I hide from this boy named Draco Malfoy. He's really cute and all but...He pesters me and pesters me and...this is my only way to relax some days..."
Draco's POV
I bother you? I don't mean to. I just want attention. I just want to hear your voice speak to me, even if it's yelling. I wish I could apologize.
(Y/N)s POV
"Where are you going now?"
She watched the ferret scurry down the tree and start picking grass up from the ground, trying to spell something out possibly,
"Draco...is...sorry? How would you kn-"
Before she finished her sentence McGonagle walked into the courtyard,
"There you are Mr. Malfoy. You don't need to run from Mr. Moody any more. Here, let me help"
She waved her wand and the ferret turned into the grey-eyed blond,
"I'm really sorry if I bugged you (Y/N), I just love you...a lot...and as crazy as it sounds...I just wanted attention from you because you don't pay attention to me any other way"
(Y/N) burst out laughing
"Draco...you didn't need to pick on me for attention...you just needed to ask! If you want to go grab a butterbeer sometime, that's perfect"
"P-perfect? L-like a date?"
"Yes, Draco Malfoy...like a date"
(Y/N) smiled and climbed out of the tree, pecking him sweetly on the cheek,
"All is forgiven, you cute little weasel"
"Technically I was a Ferret"
"Whatever it was, you were cuter as one"
"Hey!"
"Just kidding...I'll pay okay?"
"Okay"
