I knew I was sort of rushing her, but I was worried. I wasn't sure how much blood Rosetta had actually lost. I ushered her into the nurse's office. She sat on one of the beds as I grabbed the first aid kit off the shelf. It became apparent that she was staring at me. I tilted my head at her, my grey eyes focusing on her slowly, and her face turned red. I smiled warmly at her, but she only looked away. That's when my smile fell. She was acting like the girl that I had only ever seen in the hallways, the one that would flee just from a simple glance. Not the one I had met in Professor Willow's classroom. I sat the first aid kit down, opening it up and pulling out the roll of medical bandages and wipes. Going to the nurse's desk and grabbing a small bottle of alcohol. I dampened the cloth wipe. I then motioned for her arm. She seemed to cringe, biting her lip as she shook her head. "I know, it's going to hurt, but I don't want your wounds to get infected." I gave a pout. Her face started turning red again. The nurse rolled her eyes at us, a playful smirk on her face as she went over and closed the curtain that encircled the bed. "Just do what you have to and get out. You're lucky that the headmistress is even allowing boys in the yard." She said.

I looked at Rosetta

I looked at Rosetta. She was looking away again. I tilted my head, but took this opportunity to grab her arm. She winced as I began to rub the alcohol over her wounds, surprised at how much dirt had gotten in. When I was done, they definitely looked much better than they had before. I took the bandages and began to wrap them around her arm and hand. Blood began to seep through and stain the bandages almost immediately. I sighed, putting another layer over her wounds. Not as much blood came through now. I patted her back gently, sitting down next to her. I felt her body tense up. "Why are you so nervous around me?"

I felt the atmosphere grow tenser, and she shifted, gripping the edges of her skirt. I looked down at her lap. "Is it because of the scars? Were you scared of how I would react to them?" I questioned, and she shook her head. "You were never meant to find out about them... so I didn't care for your thoughts on them." she whispered. "No one... was meant to find out. Ever..." I stared at her as she brought her knees to her chest. When I saw her shiver, I wrapped my arm around her shoulders. All the tension left her suddenly. She leaned against me, her legs turning and resting on the nurse bed. I couldn't help but smile. "And now you're relaxed... you are a strange one, Rosetta."

I could feel her physically shudder when I spoke, and she curled up once more. I sighed. "Are you scared of my judgment so much so that you shudder?" I whispered. She then began to shake her head, laying it on my shoulder. "... it's weird, okay?" She mumbled. "I want to hear it."

I heard her whimper, even though it was too quiet for even the nurse to hear. I looked down at her, and she cowered slightly. "I-I um... I-I like the way... you say my name." She whispered. My eyes widened with surprise. I opened my mouth to say something, but I was cut off by the sudden pull of the curtain. Will was standing there, looking a little worried, and the paleness of Rosetta's skin probably wasn't helping. "Is she okay?"
