Ticking Death

Itachi and Kisame arrived at the entrance to the akatsuki base. When they walked in, Deidara was standing in front of them, smiling. Sasori was next to him. Deidara looked at Naruto and walked up to him. He examined Naruto and smiled. "Is this another jinchuriki? He's just a kid." Itachi stared at him, blankly. "He may be a child but he holds within him the nine tailed fox." Deidara went wide-eyed. He was now interested. "The strongest tailed beast. I can't wait to see it in action." Sasori looked at Deidara and spoke in his deep voice. "You know why he is here. We need the tailed beast if we want to finish our plan." Deidara looked at Sasori with a sad expression. He quickly looked away with a scowl. They all walked to a couple of giant hands that were positioned in front of a head with many closed eyes. Kisame set Naruto down onto the ground. "We need to get things prepared before we can extract the beast from this child." They all got on one finger and positioned their fingers into a hand sign and focused their chakra. Naruto was still unconscious with no sign of waking. Back at the village, team Kakashi arrived at the Hokage's room. Tsunade looked at them and scowled. "Where is Naruto? Usually he'd be complaining by now about how the mission was so boring." Kakashi stepped forward. "We have a problem. Naruto was taken by the akatsuki." This made Tsunade flinch. "What?! What happened?" Before Kakashi could speak, Sasuke interrupted. "He was taken by Itachi and some other guy named Kisame! I was with him when he was taken! I'm sorry." Tsunade sighed. "It's not your faulr Sasuke. You tried. But now we need to focus on getting Naruto back. I'll assemble a team of Black Ops to help you. Along with team Gai, team Kurenai, and team Asuma. This is our top priority. To rescue Naruto!" They all agreed and everyone assembled within an hour. When everyone knew the plan, they all went into the direction of the base using the Byakugan, Shino's insects, and Akamaru's and Kiba's noses. While on their way there, Kakashi was keeping pace with Sasuke to talk to him. "Sasuke, I need to to stick to the plan. Don't do anything rash." Sasuke scowled at Kakashi. "You'd usually be giving that speech to Naruto, not me." Kakashi had a concerned look in his eyes. "I'm giving this speech to you because I know you're still upset about not being able to stop Itachi from taking Naruto. I just don't want you getting yourself killed." Sasuke looked down. He knew he needed to listen to Kakashi. He had to focus if he was going to rescue Naruto. It was awhile before they were able to reach the akatsuki base. They had looked at the giant stone door blocking their way. There were also some sutras on the door. Kakashi examined them and figured out what he had to do. He looked at the others. "These are barrier type sutras and are very rare and powerful. We need to tear them off with something that can cancel out the barrier." Two of the Black Ops stepped forward. One of them spoke to Kakashi behind his mask. "We're able to do barrier jutsus. I think we can make a strong enough barrier to cancel out the sutras." Kakashi nodded. "Very well. Everyone! Stand back and let them do their jutsu!" Everyone listened and hid behind the trees. The two Black Ops did hand signs and summoned up two powerful barriers that fought with the barrier created by the sutras. The barriers fought over dominance and the barriers created by the Black Ops were able to cancel out the sutras. Kakashi and the others stepped forward. Kakashi walked up to the sutras and tried to pull one off but couldn't. "Hm. Seems we need to peel them off all at-" Just then, the barrier came back up and almost got Kakashi. He landed and looked at the door. "Seems as though you have to rip off the sutras right after you break the barrier or it comes back up. Now we need to do it again. You two need to make the barriers again and when you break the barrier, me, Gai, Kurenai, Sasuke, and Sakura will pull off the sutras at the same time. But we have to do it quick or else the barrier will come back up. From what I've found out it comes back up in 5 seconds which should be enough if we move fast. Now begin." The Black Ops put up their barriers again which fought the other barrier. Inside the base, Deidara heard the commotion outside. "Seems we have visitors. Should I kill them?" Sasori shook his head. "We need to hurry and get the tailed beast out of that boy. So focus Deidara." Deidara looked away from the door and continued to focus. Just then, other figures appeared on the remaining fingers. They were transparent and looked like holograms. The guy who had the purple eyes with the black circles in them spoke. "For what reason did you summon us?" Itachi was the one to answer. "We have captured another jinchuriki. We need to extract the tailed beast from him." The man spoke again. "Very well."
