Chapter 10

Rosemarie woke up with a fever. Her father told her to stay in bed and try to sleep. Bella walked in and smiled at her older twin.
"Jasper is worried. He said not to let you come to the game and that he will come to check on you."
Rose smiled.
"Thanks, sis. I was really excited for the game but I'm too tired to get out of bed."
Bella nodded.
"I can stay with you if you want. I don't have to go. We can go another day."
Rosemarie shook her head.
"No. It's okay. Go have fun."
Bella nodded and kissed her forehead, leaving her room.
As she left, Rose tried to fall asleep but couldn't.
Jasper got through her window and sat next to her.
"Hey, Jas."
Jasper looked worriedly at her.
"Are you okay, Marie?"
Rose smiled and nodded.
"I'm fine. Just tired, you know."
Jasper nodded.
Rose took his hand and played with his cold fingers.
"I'm sorry I can't come to watch the game."
Jasper kissed her forehead.
"As long as you are okay, I don't care about the game. Do you want me to stay?"
Rose shook her head.
"Enjoy the game, but please take care of Bella. I don't want anything to happen to her."
Jasper nodded.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of her."
Rose nodded and Jasper kissed her forehead one time before leaving.
A couple of hours later, Bella came home and started packing.
"Bells, what happened?"
Bella couldn't look at her twin.
"Edward and I broke up."
Rose looked shocked.
"Did he hurt you?"
Bella shook her head.
"No, I just need to leave. Please, Rose. Don't make this harder than it is. Please."
Rosemarie nodded.
"If that's what you want, I won't stop you. But please call so I know you are okay."
Bella nodded and hugged her older twin sister.
"I love you, Rose."
Rosemarie laughed.
"I love you too, Bells."
As she said that she left.
It's been a day since Bella left. Rosemarie was sad, she missed her baby sister.
Her phone suddenly rang and name Jasper showed up.
"Jas?"
"Marie. I have to tell you something. Please listen before you freak out. Bella is in hospital, but she is okay. A vampire almost killed her but Edward saved her. She is okay now and should be awake anytime now. I'll come and take you to her, okay? Just get ready."
Rosemarie just hang up and got ready. Jasper came and took her and Charlie to hospital.
Rose run into Bella's room and hugged her tightly.
"Bells. I'm so glad you are okay."
Bella laughed.
"Yeah, me too. I missed you."
Rose laughed.
"Missed you too. Don't ever scare me like that."
Bella nodded and hugged her dad.
Rose walked out and smiled at Jasper.
"Thanks for keeping her safe."
Jasper shook his head.
"I should've know he would hurt her. I should've stayed with her and keep her safe. I should've-"
But Rose cut him off with a kiss. Jasper instantly pulled her closer to him and deepened the kiss.
They pulled away and Jasper smiled.
"I love you, Marie."
Rosemarie smiled.
"I love you too, Jas."
Someone cleared their throat and the pair turn to find Charlie standing there.
"Hey, dad."
Charlie was glaring at Jasper. Jasper smiled.
"I'm Jasper Hale, sir. I don't believe we properly met. Your daughter is absolutely amazing."
Charlie seemed to take a liking to Jasper.
"Yeah, she is."
Rosemarie grinned at her father's approval.
"I also love hunting."
Rosemarie giggled as Charlie tried to intimidate a blonde vampire.
Jasper smiled and nodded.
"Interesting hobby."
Rose smiled as her father left to talk to her mom. Jasper laughed.
"Would you like to go to prom with me?"
Rose looked up at him.
"But I promised Bella -"
Jasper cut her off.
"She is going with Edward."
Rose smiled and nodded.
"Then, I would love to."
Jasper smiled and the two sat down, waiting for Bella to go home.
