Life sometimes is not just a bowl of cherries, strawberries, and blueberries.
Yes we are to live life to the fullest, and yes we are to prosper in all things. You see in 3 John 1:2 the Lord wants us to prosper in all things and in health, but yet that comes with a cost.
See Jesus prospered during his time on earth as well as his friends and those around him yet even he in all his righteousness had to pay a price.
He willingly gave himself up for the glory of making our lives better for the better. He willingly laid down on the offering table even though he didn't want just so that your and my life can be better.
My friends the story doesn't end there. You see there is actually a semicolon (;) to declare that He is alive and it doesn't get better than that . No love from a lover or comfort from a peer can compare to what Christ did for us. He died for us, was raised to life for us, and is now in heaven waiting for us.But it gets even better because while here on earth Jesus is in heaven preparing our eternal homes and our crowns for when we get to there. When we get to the gates of hometown glory and the Lord says "well done come in." that's when it gets sweeter and sweeter. It gets so sweet that it taste just like honey on the honey comb.
So friends and family let this be a reminder forever and until the end...that....
IT GETS BETTER!!!!
3 John 1:2
2 Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]
