I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I groaned and turned my alarm off.

I slowly got out of bed and made my way to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I quickly brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail. I put on my favorite necklace. It has a small guitar chain on it. Then I made my way to my door.

I went downstairs and grabbed a bowl and poured some cereal and milk in it. I sat down at the counter and ate my cereal.

Kelsey soon walked downstairs and smiled at me.

"Morning." she said.

I smiled at her. "Morning Kels!"

I grabbed an apple and threw it to her. She caught and mumbled thanks.

"So Luna, what are you up to today?"

"I'm going to the beach with Star, wanna come?"

"Can't I have work today sadly."

"Oh okay, that's fine. Another day then."

Kelsey worked as a bartender at this club around the corner. Most times when she worked she would be back late, but I didn't mind.

"Well, I'm gonna get ready. See you later!"

I washed my bowl and made my way upstairs. I went in my room and Star soon walked in behind me. I grabbed my swimsuit, put it on, and put shorts and a loose tank top. I put on my sandals and grabbed my bag. I grabbed my phone and keys.

While going downstairs I called Star. She came running quickly and I laughed. I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and a bunch of chips.

I went out the door and made my way towards my car. I opened the door for Star to jump in. I got in, put on my sunglasses, and made my way towards Venice Beach. It was my favorite beach.

After about fifteen minutes of driving, we finally got there. I was surprised there weren't that many people there. It was usually packed. I didn't mind tho, some peace and quiet would be nice.

I got out of the car with Star and grabbed my bag in the back. Star was a good dog so I didn't bother to put on her leash.
We started walking towards the beach. I noticed someone was selling coconut water so I decided to buy some. I made my way towards the girl and asked for a coconut water.

"That will be three dollars please." I gave her the money and grabbed my drink. She looked at Star and said, "Cute dog!"

"Thanks." I gave her a polite smile and made my way towards the beach.

I took off my sandals and put them in my bag. The feeling of walking barefoot on the beach and the sand between your toes was great.

I looked over at Star and she was happily walking. It looked like she was having the time of her life. I drank all of my coconut water and then I tossed it into a trash can.

We kept on walking until we found the perfect spot.I placed my bag down and took off my shirt and shorts. I took my hair out of its ponytail and put my glasses on top of my head. I grabbed my sunscreen and put lotion all over myself. I quickly put my phone in my bag and made my way towards the water.

There was no one around me other than a life guard. I shrugged and got in the water with Star. She started jumping around having the time of her life. I started laughing so hard.

After two hours of playing with Star, I went back to my bag and grabbed my towel. I set it down and it flew away. I ran towards it but I was too slow.

The life guard noticed and he quickly caught the towel. He made his way towards me and he handed me the towel.

"Thank you!"
