Imani POV

I woke up to cook breakfast while Marquis was still asleep.

After I Was done cooking I went and woke Marquis up

"Baby get up" I said as I tried to wake Marquis up

He was a really heavy sleeper so it took forever

"Baeeeee" I screamed in his ear

"Damn girl you got some lungs on you" He said jokingly while rubbing his eyes and stretching.

"Haha, You Got jokes" I said

"Ha You already know" Marquis said laughing

"Come eat breakfast boy"

"Damn bae cooked breakfast. Cause I put it down last night right"

"Fuck you" I said giving him the finger

I walked back downstairs. About 10 minutes later Marquis came downstairs to eat

After we ate we both took our showers

I wore my Love Spell Scent and My Black Bra and pantie set

I went to my closet and picked out my outfit. I ended up wearing my black high waisted leggings my pink bandeau top and my pink Bailey bow uggs. I wore my hair in a high bun. And I put on eyeliner.

I made my way downstairs and I heard a knock at the door.

"I Got it" I said running down the stairs

I looked the peephole and saw Tyra and Cartier

I opened the door and Tyra gave me a stank look.

"Oh Uh Uh, you not finna have my baby around this hoe"

Oh no she didnt. I had to keep my composure because I didnt want to show out in front of the baby.

"Bruh, Tyra chill out with that" Marquis said defending me.

Tyra smacked her teeth and said "I'll pick her up in a week" and she walked away and drove off.

"Cartier meet Imani" Marquis said while pointing at me

"Daddy, she pwetty" Cartier said reaching up for me to pick her up.

"Thank you baby" I said while picking her up.

I put her on the couch to watch Phineas and Ferb.

"Marquis come here" I said

"Yes baby" He said when he walked over to me

"You want to take her to the zoo?" I asked him

"Yeah sure we can"

Marquis went and told Cartier we were going to the zoo. She started jumping up and down on the couch.

About 30 minutes later we made our way to Zoo Atlanta.

We were there for about 45 minutes when Marquis phone rang. He walked away to take the call

Marquis POV

"You have a collect call from Dajuan Ryans in Fulton County Jail" Will you acceot this call" The recording on the phone said

"Yes" I replied

What the hell was Dajuan doing in jail.

"Hello" I said when the phone finally connected.

"Aye bruh, we got raided you think you can come bail me out"

"Yeah Im on my way."

I hung up the phone and walked to where Cartier and Imani were by the giraffes

Imani POV

"Baby we got to go" Marquis said as he came back over to where the giraffes were

"Why We just got her" I replied lookig confused

"the trap got raided and I need to go bail Dajuan out"

We ran out of the zoo and made our way to Fulton County jail.

When we got there Marquis walked into the jail while Is stayed in the car with Cartier.

About 30 minutes later marquis walked out with Dajuan by his side.

They got in the car and we drove Dajuan home.

"See you later Brah Brah" Dajuan said as he got out of the car.

We got back home and I started cooking dinner. I cooked Spaghetti and garlic bread.

After I was finished cooking we all ate at the table

"Mommy this good" Cartier said

I looked around the room to see who she was talking to when I realized she was talking to me

"thank you baby"

After we finished eating I gave Cartier a bath and put her in the bed.

After she was asleep I went and got in the shower. By the time I had gotten out of the shower Marquis was already knocked out

I laid down next to him and dozed off.

About 4 am my phone rang and the Caller ID read Deja

"Hello" I said in the phone wondering why she was calling me at 4 am

She was sobbing in the phone and I instantly got worried.

"Imani, Dajuan is dead" She said

"Im on my way"

"MARQUIS WAKE UP DAJUAN IS DEAD"

Marquis grabbed Cartier and we ran out of the house.

We went 90 mph trying to get to Deja and Dajuans apartment.

When we got there, there was tons of police cars.

Marquis ran to the door. Trying to get in the house
