Marquis POV

"Somebody call the police they just shot my girl!" I said

Everybody was screaming. I saw other people had been hit too . A few minutes later I heard the ambulance coming down the street.

They came in and put Imani on the stretcher.

I followed the ambulance to the hospital and they took her right into surgery.

While she was in surgery I went to go pick up Cartier from my moms house

Mama Kims House

I knocked on her door and she slung the door open

"Mama wheres Cartier I need to get back to the hospital" I said breathing hard

"Why What happened baby?"

"Imani got shot" By that time I was crying . I knew she wasn't going to die because it was just her leg. But the thought of my lifestyle could have did this to her.

"Go on back to the hospital I can watch her" My mom said

"Thanks ma"

When I got back in the car I sped to Grady. When I got there I ran into the hospital .

"Imani Owens Room" I said to the receptionist.

"467"

I got on the elevator and went to the 4th floor and went to her room. She was awake and her leg was bandaged up

"What did the doctor say baby?" I asked her

"Well my femur is shattered, And I have to wear this cast for 6 weeks, and then I get a boot, But I can leave tomorrow"

"Alright" I said giving her a kiss

3 Months Later

Marquis POV

I found out who shot up the Ihop, I found out and killed him. But my team cleaned up good and the police never found his body

It was about 3 Am And I heard a knock at the door.

I went and opened it and it was some police officer.

"Are you Marquis Thomas" One Police Officer Asked

"yes I am"

"You are under arrest for the illegal possession of Marijuana anything you do or say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult with an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you."

SHIT. I Fucked up . I thought in my Head.
