I had been staying at a hotel for about a week now. Marquis called everyday since I've been down here.

Yes I missed Marquis but I didnt accept the fact could be the father of someone elses baby.

My phone vibrated meaning I had a text message

MyBabyQuis: Bby I miss you can we meet up somewhere?

Me: Sure, where

MyBabyQuis: Papadeaux

Me: K

I got out of the bed and took a shower. I got dressed and about 30 minutes I walked out the hotel room and got on the elevator.

At Papadeaux's:

What did you want to meet me here for? I asked Marquis in a agitated tone

Imani I love you can you please come back home?

Marquis I heard another girl talking about you got her pregnant!

So you believe everything you hear. You dont even know the girl. Marquis said raising his voice.

"Im sorry, your right" I said I felt so stupid. How could I just believe something from a girl I didnt even know.

I almost ruined my relationship.

Marquis followed me back to the hotel and he helped pack my things so I could come back to the house.

When we got back to the house Mama Kim's car was parked outside meaning she was here watching Cartier.

As soon as i walked in the door Cartier came running up to me

"Mommmmmyyy" She said jumping onto me.

"I missed you baby girl"

"I missed you too, why did you leave me?"

"Baby, I was at work" I lied, she was only 3 so I just made up a lie.

I put her back on the couch and my phone started ringing

"Hello?" I said picking up the phone

"Mani Boo"

It was Deja I miss her so much every since she moved to Miami with her mom.

"Deja, I miss you, how've you been"

"Girl Im good, still a little down about Dajuan. But Im healing slowly but surely"

"Thats good, Hows the baby"

"He's do--" She said before I cut her off

"HE! Its a boy?" I said screaming into the phone

"Yes boo. His name is King"

"Aw, my little nephew" I said exicitidly

"Girl, Imma talk to you later. Im at my doctors appointment" Deja said into the phone.

"Alright boo, bye. Talk to you later"

I was excited for Deja, I think it would be better with a boy since Dajuan died, then she could have a little Dajuan running around.

"babe Im going out" Marquis Said

"Do You really have to go tonight."

"Yes, I need to get paid"

"But I want you to stay here" I said whining

"No, Imani . Im leaving" Marquis said in a stern voice

"Fine Go Then"

Marquis POV

I dont know why Imani was acting like that. She know I gotta make money for the house.

I pulled up to the trap

"Whats up Deuce" I said to the security guard

"Whats up boss"

I walked in the trap and everybody was there.

Imani POV

The next morning Marquis was back in the bed.

"Goodmorning baby" I said

"Goodmorning my love, You want to go to breakfast"

"Yeah sure"

I got up did my hygiene thing.

I wore my blue and black crop top, my acid washed high waisted jeans. And my Gammas.

We walked out the house and drove to Ihop.

"Can we get a booth please" Marquis said to the hostess

She walked us to our table

"Can I start you off with something to drink"

"Yes can I get and Apple Juice" I said

"Let me get the same" Marquis said

"Alright Ill Be Back With Your Drinks In A Moment"

Me And Marquis were just talking about everything and shots rang out.

Everybody was screaming, and I felt something hit me in my leg.

"Marquis they shot me"
