Sleepless Nights and Failed Plans

To say I'm excited to make a video with Mark an Ethan, is a major understatement. I'm overjoyed, practically bouncing off the walls at the mere thought of it. The only problem is that nerves start to overcome me as Ethan drives me back to his place. That's so many people. They're all going to be judging me and there's a 100% chance of a hate storm. Can I handle it? Probably not. Will I have to? If I want to stay with Ethan, probably. My thoughts are shattered by Ethan's gentle voice from beside me.

"I want you to take my bed tonight at least. I know you prefer the couch but I'll feel so much better if you're comfortable for at least one night." He smiles sadly for a brief second before his usual grin reappears.

"Ethan. You know exactly what my answer will be. Besides, I stay up really late watching movies, it'll be better to be by the TV." I smirk, plopping down on the soft couch.

"Fine. But one of these nights you'll be sleeping in a bed and not on a couch." Ethan looks down at me before sighing and heading towards his bedroom. "Goodnight. Let me know if you need anything."

"Goodnight!" I call back to him and immediately go to pick a movie to watch. Oddly enough, I really want to watch The Lion King. Finding the movie, I grab it and move the disk from its case to the player underneath Ethan's huge flat screen. The movie starts suddenly and fills the room with sound as the first sneak peak comes on that's of a movie that's been out for years. Not wanting to bother Ethan, I scramble to grab the remote and turn the volume down quite a bit.

As the movie plays and the night grows later and later I come to realize I'm not getting at all tired. one movie after another and the next thing I know, light is seeping through the curtains into the small room and footsteps echo down the hall.

"You're awake?" Ethan's voice fills the room and I nod. "How long have you been up?"

I pause to think before responding, "all night..." I look up at Ethan. "I couldn't sleep."

"Are you in pain?" Worry washes over his gentle face. "Do you want me to take you to the doctor again? We can cancel plans with Mark, he won't mind."

"No no no! We are not canceling on Mark. I'm okay Ethan, I promise. I'm just nervous for today." I smile and laugh a little as does Ethan.

"Okay then let's get some breakfast and head out." Ethan pulls out two bowls and spoons as well as the milk and waits for me to join him. I quickly turn off the TV and go to join him. As soon as we finish Ethan drives us back to Mark's recording studio.

During the drive my nerves begin to set in and I find it harder and harder to breathe. By the time Ethan pulls up to the warehouse I feel like the world around me is spinning.

"H-hey Ethan?" I reach my hand out slightly towards Ethan and he looks over at me. "Can you grab me some water really quickly? I feel really dizzy." Ethan nods and runs inside before coming back out to the car with a bottle of water. He quickly hands it to me and sits back down in the driver seat.

"You doing okay? You look really pale." I nod, hoping to soothe Ethan's concerns.

"Yeah I'll be okay. I just haven't had enough to drink. Can you help me inside?" Once drinking about half of the water, I open the car door and start to get out. Ethan runs around and takes the water bottle from me before wrapping his arm around around me and giving me as much support as he can. We slowly make our way inside as I find it hard to move quickly without getting too dizzy. As soon as we get inside, Ethan helps me get settles on a beanbag chair in the live stream room before going to get me more water.

I drink the rest of the water in the bottle from before and begin to feel a lot better though I still find it hard to breathe.

"You feeling any better?" Ethan's voice startles me slightly, "I can tell Mark we need to wait and we can go home."

"I'm okay Ethan. I feel a lot better now." I smile up at him to enforce the lie. "We should probably start recording." I push myself up and start heading out.

"Okay. Just don't push yourself too hard." Ethan gets up and follows me to where Mark and Tyler are waiting for us.

Mark starts recording, introducing everyone one by one and announcing that we're playing the seven second challenge. Multiple rounds go by before I get the challenge to touch every wall in the room. Ethan tries to stop me from doing it but I insist and stand up in the middle of the room. The moment I get up my head starts to spin but I continue with the challenge.  As I run I find it harder and harder to breathe. Before I even touch the third wall, I feel myself unable to breathe and me feet slip out from under me causing my body hit the ground before there is nothing.
