It was a normal day in the Adams-Foster Family house hold. Jude was out with Connor. Mariana was on the phone with Mat. The moms were doing work stuff. Jesus was at boarding school. Brandon was playing his keyboard. Callie was... well she was doing nothing. Callie laid on her bed thinking about the one thing that has never left her mind. Brandon. She knows nothing can happen since she's adopted and he's her brother now, but she also knows that the feelings are very well alive.
"Hey Callie you alright? You've been so i don't know, distant lately. What's up girl?" Mariana asked out of nowhere. "I'm fine. I think I'm going to go used the restroom right now." With that Callie walked towards the restroom. As she was about to walk in, the door abruptly opened, and brandon walked out. "Hey sorry I didn't know you were here." Brandon said stepping out. "Oh don't worry about it it's fine, you scared the crap out of me though." Callie giggled a bit after she said that and looked at brandon. Brandon looked back at her and they just stared at each other for a second or two. "Well-uh gotta go finish up this piece." Callie got knocked out of her gaze when brandon spoke. With that, Callie went to use the restroom and brandon walked into his room.
"Dinner!" Stef yelled as the kids starting heading downstairs to the dinner table. "Hey we're Brandon?" Lena asked while scooping pasta onto her plate. "Sorry i was piling up my sheet music." Brandon took a seat and unfortunately it was right across from Callie.
Dinner consisted of conversations about school and other random stuff. Callie on the other hand was looking at brandon whenever she got the chance to. She didn't speak. "Callie, honey everything alright?" Stef asked. "Yeah uh I'm just scared because I-I have a big quiz tomorrow. May I be excused?" Callie asked as Stef shook her head to let her be excused.
"Why'd you keep looking at Brandon at dinner today?" Mariana said out of nowhere as they both laid in bed. "What? I wasn't looking at him." Callie sat up and looked at Mariana. "Okay you know what Callie, I'm not dumb. Something is obviously wrong with you. You didn't speak at dinner and you've been in your room all day. And I'm pretty sure it has to do with Brandon. Don't lie to me." Mariana said seriously. "Mariana there's nothing going on between Brandon and I. We're brother and sister. Nothing more. Can we just go back to sleep?" Callie hoped that Mariana was going to let this go. "Good Callie." "Night Mariana." The girls soon drifted off to sleep after that.
