The Runaway

Chapter 11

After Gianni was done with his work. Zoey was sound asleep on the couch with ear buds in. Gianni walked over the couch to grab his shirt. He grabbed everything of him and hers then pick her up. She put her arms around him instantly. He walked hisself out of the warehouse with her in his arms.

He put Zoey and their things in the car. He covered Zoey with one of his blankets he had,kissing her cheek.

"Gee?" Jacquees said to him. Gianni turned around to dap him. " wassup Jacquees." He said to him. "Leaving so soon?" Jacquees asked. He nodded. "Yeah sadly. I gotta take here girly back home before her folks worry about her." He told Jacquees. "I understand that. You got a pretty little thang by the way. Dont mess that up." He told Gianni.

To let you know, Jacquees is Gianni big brother on his father side. He just turned 19 recently. He has pretty eyes and gorgeous hair. But he's average size. He has a 2 year old daughter named Janet. She is the prettiest thing. She's mixed with Puerto Rican and Black. 

Gianni nodded his head "alright well i'll see you later tonight." he said to Jacquees. "Alright" he said back to him. He slide back on his hood and walked into the house. "Hey y'all." Jacquees said the group. They were counting money or smoking weed. "What's up!" a guy named Blake said to him. Jacquees started to help out the group with the money. Pregnant Diamond  walked over to Jacquees. "Hey can I talk to you?" she asked. He looked at her then shook his head. "I'm not trying to talk right now." he said. "But this is important." she told him lowly. He looked at her again,but gave her a look that would scare a small child. "I just want to help my dad out then go back home." he told her. She starts to pout. Everyone stares at them. "But I told you said that I could talk to you whenever." she said. Tears streamed down her eyes. "Yo what is up with Diamond? Why is she crying?" Travis asked Jacquees. Diamond smirked at Jacquees,mouthing ' you gotta talk to me now.' He shook his head and put the money down. "Nothing I just wanted Jacquees attention for something. " she said before Jacquees grabbed her hand,taking her into the hallway. "What the fuck do you want to talk to me about Diamond?" he asked her. She smiled,wiping her tears away. " You know what I want to talk about. I miss you papi." she told him. "Man shorty you tripping." he told her. He walked away from her but she grabbed his wrist. "You know you miss me. You love me." she told him. He looked at his wrist then her face. He snatched his wrist away from her. "What you and I had was just a mistake. Nothing else." He told her. She shook her head. She couldn't believe it. She just couldn't. "But...I can't let you go. I need you." she told him. "No you don't." he told her. "You just want me for your own selfish reasons. I don't know why but you do." he told her. She teared up. "But I do...you're the father.." she told him. He turned to her with a shocked look. "Mines?"

Gianni shook Zoey lightly "Zo you have to get up girly. "He said to her. She opened her eyes and looked at him. "where are we" she asked then she looked around. "Did you bring me home?" she asked. "Yeah I brought you home. You fell asleep in my dad's office so I thought I would bring you home." he said. She nodded and got up. "Let me call my bestie Khalil." she said. "alright" he said. She pulled out her phone and dialed Khalil's number. "Hey Khalil I'm outside. Can you unlock the door?" she asked him. "Yeah .Hurry though because I'm YouTube and Chilling." he told her. Zoey hung up the phone and got her things. "Hey I'm about to go .Thanks for the date. It was really fun..." she said. Zoey got out the car before he could say anything. He sat there until she got into her apartment. He thought to himself. He realized that he was starting to like Zoey. But he shook it off and turned on his music. Her Way by PartyNextDoor was on. "Well isn't that nice." he said to his self. He pulled out of the parking lot and was on his way home.

Zoey walked into Chris's apartment. She went straight to the kitchen to warm up something before going to ruin Khalil's little date. She found some left over fish tacos. "Well that will work for now." she took them out and put them in the mini oven. She got some water from the sink. That smart water. 

A couple minute went by before she pulled the fish tacos out. They were nice and warm. Smell good too. She put them on a paper plate. Then she walked into the living room.  "Hey love birds." she said. " Hey Zo." Khalil said to her. "what are you guys watching?" she asked them. " We're just watching MessYourself videos. " the girl said. "oh well can I watch a video with you guys?" Zoey asked them. "Yeah sure you can stay with us as long as you like." The girl said. Zoey smiled and got comfortable in her little chair.
