Deanna's POV
My eyes quickly fluttered open. I looked to the empty seat beside me; where was Niall? The plane was shaking, probably going through some turbulance or something. I stretched my arms and yawned. Was the plane ride almost over? I hope it was, because that Niall guy was really getting on m-
My body jolted forward, crashing my head into the seat in front of me. It took me a second to adjust; a feeling of drowsiness swept over me.
Well OW.
My head wasn't the only thing that made me nauseous. Shrills of scream burned my ears. What was happening?
I looked up and down the plane. Flight attendants were demanding people to stay calm and stay in their seats.
Obviously they weren't listening.
"What's going on?" A man up front screamed at a lady.
She screamed back at him saying," LIKE I KNOW!"
The back engines of the plane were roaring. Not the regular noise, like a scary scorching noise.
That's when I knew what was happening.
The air simulators fell onto us. I managed to strap it around my head, even though my hands were uncontrollably shaking. I started to heavily breathe. I wasn't scared nor calm.
Was this really happening? Or am I still dreaming in that nap of mine? I didn't exactly know. I turned my head slightly to see Ally. She was crying into her mask. Harry was holding it to her face, while he was fogging up his own with his warm breath. I then spottted Niall sitting beside Harry. Why was he over there?
I was alone. I was going to die. Alone. Is this what I get for sneaking off to a party?
Does Karma have to be such a big of a bitch?
I unzipped my backpack and pulled out my phone. I needed to text my mom. I needed to say goodbye to her. Even though she was horrible to me all my life, I needed to say goodbye.
My phone was dead.
Suddenly, all of the overhead bags crumbled to the ground, landing on the people below. I shield myself with my arms, which didn't really help because a big hard box landed on my head. The plane was rattling back and forth. It felt like I was on an amusement park ride. And it didn't have a good ending. The overhead speaker clicked on, and the pilots rattling voice filled the cabin.
**THIS IS THE PILOT SPEAKING, WE ARE JUST GOING THROUGH SOME HEAVY TURBULANCE, PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR SE-**
A big screech came from behind me. A big gust of wind threw my head to the side, which gave me a harsh whiplash I clutched onto my arm rest, holding on for my life. However, not even this would save me.
I squinted my eyes open and saw flight attendants flying out of the plane. Everyone who wasn't buckled was long gone out of the plane.
The wind was so powerful that it blew off my face mask.
I was suffocating 30,000ft in the air.
I was gasping for air. I glanced outside the window, and saw the ocean drawing near to the plane. We were plunging to the clear blue waters.
This was really happening.
I closed my eyes tight. I didn't want to see what was going to happen. About 20 minutes ago, I was in the bathroom with Niall Horan. About an hour ago, I was avoiding Niall. About 2 hours ago, I was boarding this plane.
And now, the plane that I boarded to go back home, is crashing into the Pacific Ocean.
Thats when it all went black.
