DR. ALEX STORM

It was finally the weekend so now I had two full days off before I had to return back to the asylum. I didn't have any set plans yet other than to relax at home. I needed it because I was tired and stressed out.

I had spent a few hours in my jacuzzi before getting dressed into black sweatpants and a Guns N' Roses T-shirt. The rest of the night I pictured myself lounging and catching up on some shows I have recorded that I usually don't have enough time to watch during the week when they're aired.

I could feel myself dozing off during the second show and I let it happen because I knew I deserved a nap.

My body shot up in alarm when my ringtone sounded on high volume. I looked at the time and my eyes almost bulged out, noticing that I had napped for almost two hours.

I tapped the answer button and held the phone up to my ear, "hello?"

"Doctor, you have to come down to the hospital, immediately," Dr. Wells' voice hummed in the speakers.

I leaned my head back on the reclining chair in exhaustion.
On my day off?

"What's going on?" I questioned, getting up to start getting my uniform on.

"Your patient is acting up pretty bad and is not listening to anyone. I'm ready to send her off to a specialist."

I quickly cut him off, "no, no need to do that, I'll be right down."

I ended the call before he could respond and quickly freshened myself up and slipped into my white Doctor uniform. I couldn't believe I was getting called into work on a Saturday at 5:30 at night. Nothing like this had ever happened before.

I rushed to the hospital and made sure to clock in, there's no way I wasn't getting paid for this.

Making my way up to the third floor in the elevator, I contemplated on what I was going to do. Red didn't even listen to me in the first place, what makes them think I could fix anything that's going on right now?

There was slight commotion coming from the end of the hallway where Red's room is and I hurried down to it.

"What's going on?" I asked a nurse that stood outside with a cleaning cart.

He shrugged, "who knows. That girl in there's a real whack job."

I narrrowed my eyes at him but he rolled the cart down the hallway and walked into a room to start cleaning it.

I opened the door to go inside.

"What is going on?" I shout at everyone in the room.

A few nurses were standing there, and Red was laying on the bed, bound to it.

It angered me seeing her like that because that's all they ever to do erratic patients, is to just tie them up and walk away, expecting everything to be solved. But that's not always the way to go.
