Chapter 10

Varun's POV

"Is Bhabi your cousin?" I ask Alia.

"Wait - Bhabi?!" She says.

"Alia you still haven't met Varun. Sidharth's brother?" Bhabi says.

"Well he never told me that. Neither did you Di." Alia says.

"So you guys have met before?" Bhaiya asks.

"Wait, isn't that your cousin sisters baby?" Alia asks me.

"Alia this is is my daughter." Bhabi says.

"Wait what?! When did you even give birth? Actually when did you even get pregnant?! And why didn't you tell me. And if this is another favour you're doing for your husband again then urgh! You know what just forget it!" Alia grabs her bag and storms off.

"Alia wait!" I call after her.

Deepika's POV

"Hi Alu. How was your lunch with your friend?" I ask her.

"It was okay." She says and flops down on the sofa.

"What happened?" I ask her.

"Di did you know that Shraddha has a child?" I ask her.

"Wait what?!"

"That's exactly what I said! And I bet she's doing all of this just for her Sidharth!" She says and explains everything.

"So you didn't let her explain?" I ask.

"I thought I had seen enough." She says.

"Yeah but you didn't know enough. Come here." I give her a big hug.

"I just thought that she would tell me. She used to tell me everything." Alia says.

"I tell you what. Ranveer's cooking dinner today and it's nearly ready. We'll eat dinner peacefully today and then tomorrow we'll confront Shraddha okay?" I say.

"Okay." She agrees.

The next day...

Alia's POV

I wake up to my phone beeping. 5 missed calls from Varun. I text him.

A: I don't want to talk to you!

V: Alia I meant to tell you!

A: So you knew about this?!

V: Yeah...

A: Varun just please stop calling me!

V: But you're my girlfriend! And I didn't know you were Bhabi's sister so how could I have told you?! Please just meet me and I'll tell you everything I know.

A: Okay. Where?

V: how about Nandos?

A: 3:00pm.

V: sounds good.

I meet Varun in Nando's and he explains everything.

"So will you come and talk to Bhabi?" He asks.

"I don't know I'm really annoyed with her. She normally tells me everything but now I guess that's changed."

"Alia since you left yesterday she's been upset." He states.

"I'll come over with Deepika Di." I say.

Sidharth's POV

"Shraddha come on I'm sure Alia will come round." I say.

"No she won't! It's all my fault."

"Di." I hear a voice say.

"Alia!" Shraddha runs to her.

Shraddha's POV

I see Alia and run to her. I pull her into a hug "I'm so so sorry I didn't tell you....everything just happened so fast."

"You could've called at least." Deepika Di says.

"Yeah I know. I only found out about Shanaya the day I came with you for your scan." I explain what happened. "Di I didn't want to let her live without parents like we did. So we adopted her."

Shanaya crawls to Alia and Deepika Di smiling.
"Will you forgive me?" I ask. "If not for my sake, then for Shanaya's sake?"

Alia picks her up. "Only for this cutie pie." She kisses Shanaya's cheek.

"Next time you better not hide anything from us ok!" Deepika Di commands.

"Ok." I say hugging her.

"Anyway how's the little one?" I ask putting my hand on her baby bump.

"Kicks a lot." She says.

Alia and Deepika Di then play with Shanaya. Shanaya giggles a lot and has long cuddles with both Deepika Di and Alia.

"Aww she loves her Masi's already." I smile.

Alia suddenly takes me to a side.

"Di if Sidharth's forced you then..." Alia whispers I cut her off.

"No Alu! It was my decision to adopt Shanaya not his! He hasn't forced me to do anything." I whisper back.

"Okay chill." She says.

Alia's POV

"So how do you and Varun know each other?" Shraddha Di asks as Varun enters.

"Well um were....." Varun and I look at each other.

Do you think Alia will tell Shraddha about hers and Varun's relationship?
Will Varun being related to Sidharth be a problem?
