Sidharth's POV
"What?!" Shraddha raises her eyebrow.
"Shraddha when did you get home?" I ask a little worried as she seems furious.
"Who are you?" Katrina asks coldly.
"My wife!" I exclaim.
"Oh your married....that's just great! Anyway I should go." She walks towards the door.
Shraddha blocks her way.
"Excuse me will you move?!"
"No! Do you think I'm going to let you walk away with Shanaya like that?!" She fumes.
"Who are you to stop me?! She's my daughter!"
"Your daughter! Where were you for the past 6 months?!" I question her.
"Don't question me Sid! She belongs with me her mother!" Katrina retorts.
"Oh please, what kind of mother abandons her child at a random persons door step huh?" Shraddha asks.
"Don't you d-"
"Your lucky MY Sidharth's looked after her. If it was someone else they wouldn't have taken up her responsibility." Shraddha states.
"Listen, I'm just taking my daughter back home with me! Now will you get out of my way!" Katrina clicks her fingers in front of Shraddha's face.
Shraddha moves her finger out her face. "Your must be crazy if you think I'm gonna let you go!" Shraddha laughs.
"She's my daughter legally. I'm her parent so technically you have no right to take her!" She takes Shanaya from Katrina.
"Well biologically I'm here mother! She's my blood, so I have more of a right on her. She would want to live growing up around her actual mother. Not some random lady!"
"A random lady that accepted her as a daughter when her own mother abandoned her! She gave her so much love and treated her as if she had given birth to her!" I add.
"Well she hasn't given birth to her! I'm her mother!" Katrina states.
"You call yourself a mother? You left her alone for goodness sake, didn't you care that maybe she would be all alone? She wouldn't be looked after?!" I shout.
"Why do you think I left her in front of your doorstep? It's because I knew that you would take care of her." She smirks.
"Why did you abandon her in the first place?!" I ask.
"I'm not obliged to give you an explanation. Baby come to mummy let's go home." She holds her arms out to Shanaya.
Shanaya holds onto Shraddha.
"Mumma." She mumbles resting her head on Shraddha's shoulder.
"You don't see her calling you mum do you?!" I say. "She's Shanaya Sidharth Malhotra." I smirk.
"Now will you leave please. I'm asking you kindly. Go before I force you to leave. And trust me it won't be pretty." Shraddha says in an annoyed tone.
"I'll take this further....the court will decide whether my daughter stays with you or comes back to her REAL mother." Katrina leaves and slams the door behind her.
I go to Shraddha and hug both her and Shanaya tightly.
"Let's feed you some yummy food. My baby must be hungry." Shraddha talks to Shanaya in a baby voice.
She puts Shanaya in her high chair and starts feeding her.
"Sidharth I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier it's just that I was busy with Deepika Di..."
"It's ok. What did she have?" I smile.
"A boy. Kabir."
"Awww. Now Shanaya has a cousin brother." I say.
"I can't believe that's women had the guts to come back and claim Shanaya when she abandoned her for 6+ months!" She exclaims.
"You made me proud. You literally stood up to her. You told her what she needed to be told and the never let Shanaya go that's the most important thing. Your an amazing mother." I proudly say.
"Were not letting Shanaya go. I don't care what that stupid woman does! She can go to court...or whatever! Shanaya is our daughter and that is it. She belongs here with us!"
Shraddha says firmly.
"But we should look for a lawyer just incase she does take it to court." I say.
"Don't worry I've got it sorted. I already have a lawyer in mind." She states.
"Really who?" I ask.
"You'll see..."
Alia's POV
I take Kabir into my bedroom and play with him while Deepika Di and Ranveer Jeeju rest.
Suddenly my phone rings. I look at the called I.D and it's Shraddha. I quickly answer it.
"Yes Shraddhs?.." I say.
"Alu we need your help!"
