Chapter 12

                                       Reader Pov.

Rage surged through me. I grappled with its ferocity, trying to get it under control. Clenching my fists, I stared down at Shisui, listening to his faint breathing. I had never lost my temper like this before. I was furious. At myself. At the circumstances. At everything. Heat pulsed in my every nerve ending as fur began to grow. It rippled across my body, fingertips first, in a wave so fast the white hair breaking the skin made little musical tinkling sounds like a giant rainstick. My skeleton distended with a sound like a hundred knuckles popping all in order, smallest to largest. My human teeth fell out of my muzzle as it lengthened, replaced by a mouthful of sharp pointy teeth. My vision was dark around the edges, as if I were viewing the world through binoculars. I floated outside myself, watching some scary four legged white beast tower over the two rogue ninjas frozen in fear and the trees below it. The creature let out a blood curdling roar that seemed to shake the very air. Critters from all directions fled. I didn't feel rage or anger anymore. Instead a new feeling consumed me, Hunger. It was so over whelming that I was practically foaming from the mouth. I wanted to devour everything with a life and in prison it inside the darkness of my stomach.

Sasuke's Pov.

My eyes briskly flew open. I felt the strong chakra presence long before the trembling ground and the echoing roar that filled the village. Sarada practically leaped from her skin and out of bed at the sound of the ferocity. She looked around the room frantically like a fawn who had just lost sight of it's mother. I saw a flash of relief  across her face once she noticed daddy buck had came to retrieve his lost little fawn. "Dad, what's going on and what was that?" She questioned. Her eyes brimming with fear.
"Sarada, I want you to stay here no matter what. I'm gonna go help the other shinobi ok?" I placed my hand softly on the top of her head to help give her the comfort she so desperately needed at this moment. If it wasn't for the sly nod she gave me to show she acknowledge what I had just said, I would have thought she was lost in her own fear. After finally leaving the house, I decided to stop on a nearby roof top and take in the sight that had so many villagers trembling with fear and panicking to get off the streets. An enormous white wolf  figure towered in the distance. "It looks like your girlfriend has a furry side." My Subconscious mocked. "Shut up." I hissed. While studying the creature. Luckily it's attention seemed to be focus on something else and not the village. "There you are." I heard a familiar voice announce. I turned to see Naruto, Itachi and Kakashi approaching me swiftly. The three of them came to a rest beside me, so they could adjust the situation for themselves. "Does anybody have a clue what's going on here?" I scoffed.
"Minato warned me about the possibility of this happening." Kakashi finally spoke out. His eyes locked onto the growing concern in the distance.
"WELL, what did he say we had to do if this situation ever occurred?" I demanded.
Kakashi eyes drifted towards my own and without hesitation he answered. "He said we was to dispose of her at all cost and as quickly as possible."
I gripped his shirt collar, squeezing it tightly between my closed fist.
"She not some rabid animal. That's [f/n] out there."
Naruto gently placed a hand on my shoulder.
Trying to calm my outburst.
"Sasuke we half to do what's best for the village. Think about your own family safety and could you honestly look at that creature and tell me that's [f/n] anymore. I mean take a good look at it, does that even look like [f/n] to you?"
He asked, enticing me to look with a head jester, but I refused. Instead I looked at Itachi.
"That's your wife and the mother of your child they are talking about killing. Do you have nothing to say on the matter."
He turned his gaze towards the ground and his silence was more than enough to show me where he stood on the subject. I harshly shrugged Naruto arm off my shoulder.
"Just stay here and protective the village. I'll take care of everything else."
I stated, before turning my back on them and rushing off towards the direction of the enormous creature.
