Sakura Pov.

I caught Shisui limp body in a open arm as he descended towards the ground. I carefully kneeled down, gently laying his sleeping body on the ground. I retrieved the rope and blind fold I had prepared for this occasion from my pouch. I restrained his wrist with trembling hands as my actions started to sink in, but I already knew there was no going back now. I slipped the blind fold over his closed eyes before gently cradling him underneath my arm and quickly making my way outside the village with the future of my marriage salvation tucked safely under my arm. I decided to wait in a small clearing two miles just outside of the village. If the rogue ninjas was anywhere close by I knew it wouldn't take long for them to grow interest in the pink haired woman with the child hostage. After what seemed like fifteen minutes of waiting, two ruff looking middled age ninjas jumped down from their hiding spots. They cautiously approach, bodies tense and ready to retreat at the first signs of danger.

"I assume your the two ninjas looking for [f/n]?"

They both shared unsure glances from one another before the black haired ninja that radiated the very essence of a troubled past spoke.

"What it to you?"

He questioned, his eyes falling on Shisui for a split second before returning back to my face.

"My motives are personal. I just know as long as she stays in the village you'll never get to her and it won't be long before the Anbu find you. So I decided to give you an advantage."

I slowly start to close the small gap between us, forcing the ninjas to flinch back a little, eyeing my actions suspiciously. I come to a stop less than a foot away from the dark haired ninja.

"This is her son. With him you should be able to lure her out easily."

His fierce eyes study my face, causing me to grow nervous before he finally gestures with a head nod for the other ninja to retrieve Shisui. The plain looking brown haired ninja quickly followed orders, as he stretched out with both arms to retrieve Shisui I issued my own warning.

"I don't care what you decided to do with [f/n], but if you hurt a single hair on his head I'll pound the both of you into dust."

I let my expression match my serious tone. The brown haired ninja flinched, his face showing his uncomfortableness with the whole situation now before finally taking Shisui with unsteady hands.

"Now how is this plan of yours supposed to work,"

The dark haired ninja asked, a bit of sarcasm coating his words.

"Just leave that to me. Just know she'll meet you here at this very spot a couple hours from now,"

I assure them. The black haired ninja gave a nod of acknowledgment before signaling the brown haired ninja to follow his lead as they disappeared out of sight again. I decided to do the same, darting back home. As I entered the kitchen I was startled by Sasuke presence. He rested at the kitchen table picking at a rice bowl he obviously threw together in a rush.

"Where was you so early this morning?"

He asked in a careless voice. Only truly asking to uphold his duties as the loving husband and not because he truly cared, his eyes never leaving his bowl.

"I decided to go do a couple errands before the village got really crowded," I lied.

I look down, nervously fiddling with my fingers in hopes of a distraction from the guilt building up inside of me from lying. He shifted into a standing position from his chair, forcing his chair backwards.

"Well I have business to take care of with Naruto. So I'll see you later tonight."

He mumbles, slowly making his way towards the kitchen door.

"Ok."

I mutter back slightly disappointed that he was already leaving.

"And Sakura, we need to talk later."

His voice sounded so distant and cold I almost didn't recognize it. He paused long enough at the door to get recognition that I heard him, before vanishing out of sight. The old me would have been guessing a million reasons why Sasuke wanted to talk, but the new me knew exactly why.
I hurried up towards our room, yanking my desk drawer out and fishing out a pen and paper. Vigorously scribbling down a message.
I will not lose him now, especially to her. Once my message was complete I folded it up, and snuck into Shisui room. Placing it carefully on his pillow and exiting before anyone could spot me at the scene. I decided to await my masterpiece out in my bedroom.

Reader Pov.

I woke up to find myself in Itachi warm embrace, my head resting on his chest listening to the steady sound of his heart beat. I vaguely recall falling asleep on the couch last night while watching tv with Itachi.  He must have carried me to bed shortly after I fell asleep. I peered up at his sleeping face and pondered  over how I managed to get so lucky, but I soon found myself thinking about Sasuke. I found myself wondering if he had made it back yet. Before I had realized it I was quietly getting dress and sneaking out of our bedroom to go check downstairs. I looked around the empty kitchen with a heavy heart. A part of me really wanted to find Sasuke sitting at the table enjoying breakfast. I wasn't sure what I would say or do, I just wanted to see him again. I quickly smacked both my cheeks with my hands while shaking my head from side to side. I've got to stop thinking like that. I have a family of my own and so does Sasuke.
The idea to cook breakfast and sitting down with Shisui and Itachi like a real family popped into my head. We hadn't done that in awhile. I dug around in the refrigerator trying to require all the ingredients I would need. A hand grazing my backside startled me to the point I smashed the back of my head on the refrigerator as I tried to quickly turn around, while clutching a pack of bacon and a dozen container of eggs to my chest. I saw the corners of Itachi mouth turn up as he stared down at the startled woman holding onto bacon and eggs for dear life.
"Was the eggs and bacon supposed to save you from the intruder,"
He asked trying to stifle a smile. His dark eyes glistening with amusement and excitement.
I felt myself blushing under her gaze.
"I was just hoping to hold them off with it long enough for you to arrive," I smirked.
Waving the floppy bacon pack at him. He plucked the bacon pack from my hands.
"I'll start breakfast. Why don't you go wake Shisui up."
I started to protest that plan, but found myself smiling instead as I watched Itachi tie a cooking apron around his torso and diligently get to work starting breakfast. I practically skipped the whole way to Shisui room. I tapped on the door softly, only to be answered with silence. Finally I poked my head in to find the room empty. I started to slowly close the door again, thinking that he might have left early this morning to go hangout with friends, when I spotted a folded up letter on his pillow. "At least he left a note where he was going."
I thought as I walked over retrieving it. I opened the note scanning the message inside.

"We have your son. Meet us alone two clicks west of the village in a small clearing. If you inform anyone on the situation or were you're going he'll be executed. Do as your told and the boy will go free unharmed."

As I read the note I could feel myself slipping away. It felt like a dream. This couldn't be real right, but the note in my hand assured me it was very real and my son was in danger...No, me and Itachi son was in danger.
