Summary: You have had a crush on Oliver Wood forever but are too scared to tell him. When you wind up in the hospital because of a Quidditch accident, you hear the most unexpected words for him.

House: Hufflepuff

Your POV

I realized the bludger was hurling towards me to late. It hit me on the side making me fall. Fortunately, I was able to grab my broom before I could fall down. People are gasping and screaming as I felt the pulsing pain on my side. One of my teammates came towards me to help me but before he could my broom began shaking and it headed towards the stands but stopped right in the spot where no one was. No one was trying to help me, they were all panicking and I didn't know what to do.

My voice was to weak so I couldn't yell at them to help me. It was getting harder to keep myself from falling down and I to, like the broom, was shaking. I was scared that I would fall down and die. I tried mounting the broom but that only made it turn sideways. I went sideways with it and the broom headed towards the ground. The Quidditch players were raising towards me but they weren't fast enough. I knew I would probably break my neck if I didn't let go so when I was about 34 feet off of the ground, I let my hand go.

As my foot touched the ground, I felt exploding pain in it before I collapsed. I got my head on the ground and a sticky wet substance was running down my face. Probably a bleeding nose. Professors came running towards me shouting for Madame Pomfrey. I still felt the pain in my ribs and I couldn't help but think about how worried Oliver Wood looked when I began falling. Why would he care? And yes I know what some of you are thinking, 'you're hurt and you're thinking about you're crush?' And yes, I said crush. Oliver was my crush since sixth year. This was the last year and I knew nothing was going to happen between us.

I wanted to tell him I loved him but I couldn't force myself too. I knew he wouldn't nlove me like I loved him so I backed off. I really wanted to tell him this year but I didn't really have the courage to. People were whispering and muttering while I heard some Slytherin snickering.

An 'ouch' was heard from where I thought the Slytherins were. And I knew exactly who caused it. Now this may be a little weird but I was friends with the famous Draco Malfoy. Yes, a Slytherin was friends with a Hufflepuff. He didn't care and no one asked him why he was friends with me in fear of getting on his bad side. I managed to hear footsteps and saw two faces looming over me before mg eyes closed.

When Oliver Wood had seen the bludger going towards his crush, he almost screamed and ran to the field. When he saw the bludger colliding with his/her side, he ran down like everyone else. Oliver saw Draco hit someone before running to Y/N. Both of them out their faces in front of his/hers and tried to see if she was okay.

Madam Pomphrey made her way through the crowd and lifted  Y/N up. Draco and Oliver followed shortly. Oliver had to admit, he was kind of jealous of Draco. He always has been wanting to talk to Y/N but didn't have the courage too even utter a single word. He was pathetic.

****Time skip*****

The moment Y/N eyes fluttered open, Oliver ran to him/her side.

You were confused as to why he was with you but didn't say anything. Not like you could. You didn't have enough energy even after your long nap.

A few hours later and Oliver was still with you.

"Why are you here Oliver?"

"Don't ask," he replied with a nervous look in his eyes.

"No, tell me. I know you don't care about me, but can you at least be descent enough to to tell me?"

Oliver growled, and for a second you thought he was mad before he opened his mouth.

"Don't care about you?! Y/N, I love you! How could I not care about you?! About someone I love?!"

He loved you? He love you, a Hufflepuff?

You suddenly grabbed his shirt and pulled him towards you.

"I love you too. And I'm not planning on letting you go. You're definitely a keeper."
