"We've got to stop," Jack says inbetween ferocious kissing.

"We should, but we won't," Mark presses his lips hard against Jacks, his hands snaking up under his shirt. A tingling sensation runs over his chest where Marks fingers run.

"No," he pushes Mark back. "I don't think we can do this,"

Mark takes a step towards Jack. "What's been up with you today? You normally aren't this bothered,"

"I- I don't know," Jack slides himself down the wall. "It's just..." he fades off and finishes with shaking his head.

"Look I know this isn't exactly right but we can't stop. We've-,"

"Felix knows," Jack cuts him off in the middle. "He found out,"

"How? We've been so careful,"

"He saw us together. Thursday. He's threatening to commit me,"

"Fuck," Mark stands up abruptly and kicks the wall behind him. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck," Throwing his fist at the concrete it cracks red.

"Stop," Jack says standing up. "Just stop,"

"What are we going to do?" Turning to him his eyes fade away from black back to brown.

"I don't know," Jack says and then he hears the clock click ten times from outside, both their shoulders sink. They needed to go.

Pulling him in for one more kiss, Jack rests his head on Marks shoulder. "Just be careful and remember that I love you," Then with the blink of an eye Jack disappears.

Appearing back in the common area he comes face to face with Felix.

"Where you been Mcloughlin? Going downtown with lover boy?" He tilts his head, giving a large wicked grin.

"I was doing my runs," Jack answers dryly.

"Yeah?" He says. "I bet you were," Hearing enough Jack pushes past him. "I
wouldn't be so sure of yourself," Felix juts his arm out, stopping Jack. "You always were the weakest link. This just makes sense,"

"Stay out of this Felix. This isn't your fight,"
Felix laughs, his voice ringing out especially sour. "Not my fight? A angel and demon getting it on is not my fight?" He yanks Jack toward him, his fingernails digging hard into his skin. "This is more my fight than ever,"

"Then why haven't you told yet?" Jack growls and he can feel his eyes start to glow an icy blue.

"Oh, but I already have," With one swift snap Jack finds himself in the middle of the council.

"Thank you Felix," Michael says as he sees Jack standing in front of him.

"My pleasure," he says and then he backs off to join him at his side. "Wasn't too troubling,"

"Well with that I'm glad," he smiles at him before turning to Jack. "I'm very sure you know why your here,"

"Screw off," Jack spits and Michael shakes his head.
"I don't understand how this malfunction in you lasted so long," he says. "Most get noticed and fixed right away," he smiles at Jack. "Such a pity that my accident mislead you so far"

"I'm not a malfunction," Jack snarls offended. Loving someone doesn't make you broken.

"Oh but you are," Michael says and suddenly Jack feels a heavy wave of nausea. He gags and holds his stomach but it passes quickly. "Sorry," Michael says. "That's a side affect of me searching you over," he turns to an angel behind him. "He's fifty percent,"

"Fifty?" Felix asks, his jaw hitting the floor.

    "Fifty what?"

Michael turns to him, his eyebrows creased. "Do you not know?" He asks and Jack narrows his eyes. "Now now this just adds another layer to this story," his lips lift into a kind smile. "Jack your only fifty percent angel,"

Jacks stomach drops. "What?" He mumbles. "That's not possible,"

"You know how all this works. The good come to heaven and the bad go to hell. As always in the first one hundred years here you do work for your designed area as an angel or demon," he claps his hands together. "But I have to make you an angel first and as always there are flaws. You just happened to one of them. It's all my fault you ended up where you are,"

"What are you saying?" Jack asks

"I'm saying that the reason you ended up with Fishbach is because both of you are flawed," Jacks heart stops. They know him? They know it's Mark? "You're just lucky I'm more forgiving than my brother," snapping his fingers Mark appears in the middle of the ground. Bloody, beaten and half dead.

"Mark!" Jack calls and he tries to walk but Michael has him glued to his spot.

   "Jack you're both broken,"

"Mark," he says again, his voice breaking and blinking lazily Mark looks up at him.

   "Hi Jackaboy," he breaths.

"I'm so sorry," he says looking down at Mark before looking up at the council. "Just kill me now okay? Just kill us both,"

Michael chuckles. "And loose a valuable worker? Jack I know you are considered weak but you get good work done. I've also evaluated Mark and seen that he does great work for hell, same as you do for me. Killing you both would be a waste of good skills and besides in this day an age we could use everyone we can get," Michael says calmly.

"What going to adopt a demon into heaven? That's rich," Mark coughs from the floor an Jack sees droplets of blood go into his hand.

"No but I've worked an agreement with my brother. He said if one of you is killed then he'll let the other live freely as long as they aren't a demon. Simplicity would say to just kill Mark and purify Jack fully but I enjoy giving the power of choice," he smiles at them both warmly. "Decide together which one of you dies,"

Without a second thought Marks already spoken. "Kill me,"

"If you wish," Michael starts to lift his hand.

"Stop!" Jack can now feel his eyes burning bright and deep. "Don't hurt him," Taking a heavy step forward Michael drops his hand.

   "You shouldn't be ab-,"

Step by step Jack draws closer until he's reached Mark. "Leave us both be. We won't bother you," he puts a hand on Mark, drawing him close.

"How are you doing this?" Michael growls.

"Loves a powerful thing," he smirks and within an instant Jacks gone from the council area, Mark in his arms.
