The next morning, I'm woken up to either Sam or Dean banging on the door to mine and Rosie's motel room, we got our own after Rosie's encounter with the demons, and I ensured her that if I lined the windows and doors with salt that they couldn't get in and possess her again.
"It's probably your boyfriend, you get the door." Rosie groans from her bed and I grumble and check the peephole, and see Dean standing there with a bag and coffees in a tray.
"Hi." I open the door and Dean eyes me up and down.
"Do you always open doors with no pants on?"
"Just ones that I know you're behind." I wink and go back to my bed, Dean following me.
"Disgusting, the both of you." Rosie says and Dean laughs.
"I've missed you, Rosie." Dean nods and I smile.
Twenty minutes later, I'm eating pancakes and drinking coffee in bed with two of my favorite people on the planet. It's how I would like to spend every morning, but I know that it won't always be like this. Rosie and I will go back to New York, and Dean and I will go back to being long distance, even if we don't enjoy it.
"So, what's the plan for today?" I ask as I take the last sip of my coffee.
"Well, last night I didn't want to separate you two or anything, but Bobby and I went and summoned Castiel." Dean says and I choke on my coffee.
"You what?" I cough.
"What was he? Or she?" Rosie asks from the other bed.
"He," He says and Rosie nods. "Said he was an angel, and that God had a plan for me." He says and my eyebrows raise.
"If there is anyone on this planet that isn't a child of God, it's you." I say and he nods.
"Exactly." He says. "That's why I think that it was a demon or something, I highly doubt that it was an angel that groped me."
"You have such a way with words." Rosie says with a shake of her head.
"Please, you should've heard his dad." "You should've heard my dad." We say at the same time before looking at each other.
"Disgusting." She shakes her head, turns over and puts a pillow over her head.
"So what are you going to do?"
"Look up some angel lore, see if there's any proof of them."
"Like what?" I laugh. "I've never heard of angels before and we've been in the life for a couple minutes."
"Well, we've also never searched for angels." He shrugs. "And there's loads of lore about it. Ever heard of the Bible?"
"Yeah, real child of God." Rosie shakes her head.
And in the blink of an eye, we're back at Bobby's house with my dad and Ricki, who have been reading up on angels since they got off the phone with Bobby last night.
"Can you cook?" Dean asks and I nod.
"I'll head to the store now and get some supplies." I kiss him.
"I'll come with. I think it'll be the most normal couple thing we've ever done." He says and I laugh.
"It probably will be, to be honest." I shake my head. "We're going food shopping, be back in a bit."
"Get something good, baby!" Rosie calls after us.
"She calls you baby?" Dean asks, heading for the Impala.
