"Now what?" I ask my dad as we sit around the kitchen table in Long Island. "We go back to normal? You continue ignoring me and go back on the road?"

"I'm done with that. I'm going to go to Connecticut. Ricki's taking some time off and you should go back to the city. We'll be a safe distance from you."

"You should come to Manhattan. Or one of the Borough's at least. They're safe from monsters." I say and his eyebrows raise. "I'm friends with Bloomberg. He told me." I say and he shakes his head.

"Of course you know Bloomberg." He smiles. "You're the best thing that came out of all of this, Dal. You made a name for yourself." He says, hugging me. "It's not your fault Heath died."

"Yes it is." I say, and he shakes his head. "If I just lied and took him away from the hospital he would've been with me when he was taken. I could've done something better. Found him quicker instead of him being missing for three months and then showing up freshly dead with Sam in the middle of bumblefuck nowhere." I say, tears spilling down my face. "They're dead, dad. And it's my fault. Nobody can tell me otherwise."

"You had no control over Sam's death."

"I could've found Heath quicker and killed the Yellow Eyed Demon and all of this would be over. I'd be in Manhattan helping a client and you'd be doing something you love too. I don't know. Fixing cars or something."

"You know any good body shops in Manhattan?"

"There's no room for a body shop in Manhattan. There are some in Brooklyn, I'll look around for you. You can stay with me and Rosie for the time being. Hannah, that's Dougie's daughter, you know Dougie right? She lives with me as well, but she's a writer, on the road with her dad to find some inspiration. I'm sure she could write about what's to come and make a million dollars off it so we aren't sure when she'll be back." I say and Ricki comes into the room.

"Flames are out." He says and a single tear spills down my face.

"Fuck. He's really gone." I say, and grip my cup of coffee. "Fuck." I shake my head and take a sip.

The house is quiet. No music. No talking. No TV.

I haven't heard from Dean. I haven't heard from Bobby. No hunters other than Hannah and Dougie. It's sad. Sam and Heath passed in silence. Nobody knows they're dead.

"Hi." I say, stepping into my apartment.

"Hi." Rosie says, getting up from the couch and hugging me tight. "I'm sorry about Heath, Dal."

"Yeah, me too." I nod and she kisses my hair.

"I don't know how he found out but, uh, Matt was here. Wanted to talk to you."

"Was he really?"

"Yeah." She nods.

"I'll call him."

"It was only a few hours ago, he said he might come by again, so don't bother." She says and I nod.

"I'm gonna shower. I've got to head to my office later. Clean some things up." I say and she rolls her eyes.

"You're not cleaning your office."

"I have to get the picture of Heath and I off my desk before I throw myself out my window mid-therapy session." I say, and she nods, putting her hands up in defeat.

"Okay. Good idea." She hugs me again. "I'm going with you."

"Fine." I take my jacket off. "I still have to shower."
