Jason finds his way to Gotham

Sorry for the wait, I just don't really have a life and I forgot I had Wattpad.

Jason woke in the hospital, alone. He didn't think Cass would just leave him even though she could.

She was better equipped to live on her own. Jason though, he can't really live without Cass.

Jason had a hard time trusting people as is, without Cass as a bumper he got into way more fights with the local gang.

Jason was I guess you could say adopted by the local orphans. They taught him to read and started to teach him how to write before he heard the rumors about a new Batgirl in Gotham.

He had to ask what the Bats were before he knew that it was Cass. He saw them on tv, he could tell it was Cass.

That was when he left the city and went to Gotham. The bridges were still up due to a hurricane and some guy named Scarecrow dropping gases on the city.

Jason had to run past the guards and dove into the river with bullets chasing him. One hit right through his leg but he could handle that, he had to get to Cass.

The first couple days he wandered looking for signs. He found her symbol everywhere, the bat was painted on every building on the east side.

The west side hade a bunch of different paintings, mostly gangs but the east side was all for the Bat symbol.

Jason ran into a girl dressed in purple taking down a couple guys from his location.

"Bat." He stated when she came up to him.

She shook her head. "Nah, I'm not a Bat. The big man said I'm to ruthless. I'm a bird." She said before grappling away.

Jason shrugged and kept wandering.

An hour after the girl in purple Jason ran into a guy not much older than him in a skin tight black and blue suit.

"Bat." Jason said speaking to him.

The guy whipped around and stared at Jason. "How'd you get up here kid?" He asked.

Jason frowned. "You Bat yes?"

The guy started to shake his head before he turned. "I am a Bat but I'm not Batman."

"Not looking... Batman... Looking girl." Jason said

The guy is watching Jason. "Batgirl?" He asks.

Jason sighs in frustration but nods. The guy watches him for another minute before saying, "Follow me. By the way, I'm Nightwing."

Jason runs after him as Nightwing starts running along the rooftops. They run all the way until they get to the far south side right between the lines of the East and West side.

"Can you wait here? I have to speak with Oracle." He says before jumping off the roof and grappling into the clock tower they stopped in front of.

Jason huffs. That's when he hears a scream from the west side of the city just down the street. He turns towards it and watches as two very male figures pursue a girl down an alley.

Jason runs towards them and jumps down from the roof top dropping on top of the bigger man. The other guy hears the commotion and turns towards Jason making it easy for the girl to get away.

The guy not on the ground pulls out a butterfly knife, which makes Jason smile. The guy charges Jason and Jason faces him head on making sure to grab the knife before slamming the man into the brick wall.

Jason flips the knife in his hand as the guy he fell on decides to get up.

That's when a shadow falls over the alley and the guys look up. Jason takes this as his opportunity to stick the knife in the closer guys kneecap, turning in the motion and hitting the other guy in the back of the head nocking him out cold.

A thud echoes through the ally and Jason turns just as he's collided with a small black blur.

He laughs as he recognizes Cass.

They get into a tickle fight while entirely ignoring the other four presences in the ally.

Cass pulls him to his feet and frowns down at his leg where the bullet hole hasn't healed. She shakes her head as she pulls Jason towards the figures tying up Jason's bad guys.

"This is Jason. My brother." She says to the taller figure. The other is Nightwing.
